Nível 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Former professional poker player/reporter Aaron Hendrix has just arrived in Vegas and is playing The GIANT as a warm up for his first-ever WSOP Main Event, a dream he has always had and is set to fulfill.

Hendrix is one of dozens of players in the field using MyStack to keep friends, family and investors up to date with their progress.

So far, so good for Hendrix who has doubled up his staring stack already.

No Gamble No Future, Mohammed Suhail Doubles

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

With a turbo structure and the field still in the unlimited re-buy period, one needs nerves of steel and to not be adverse to the odd gamble at time in the tournament. Several players have seen their first bullet stray wide of the target, but one has recently gotten, by his own admission, a touch lucky to still be in.

Mohammed Suhail, a recreational player, recounted opening with {8-Spades}{2-Spades} from his stack of 13,000 and then calling a three-bet to 3,100.

The flop was {10-}{10-}{2-}, where Suhail check-called a bet of 2,500. The turn was the {q-}, and a check from Suhail saw his opponent bet 4,000. Suhail responed by moving all in to, as he put it, "get his opponent off his hand."

His opponent thought for a while before calling with {a-}{8-}, and with the river bricking out, the bottom pair of Suhail secured him a double-up to get above starting stack.

Kathy Liebert Busts Two

Nível 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Kathy Liebert knocked out two opponents in a recent hand. Liebert had the other two covered and was all in preflop with {a-}{a-}. The next big stack had {q-}{q-}, and the short stack had {a-}{10-}.

The board ran out {q-}{4-}{j-}{7-}{a-}. The queen on the flop was quite a fright for Liebert, but an ace on the river saw her knock score the double knockout.

Moneymaker Busts

Nível 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Chris Moneymaker has been eliminated. Getting a little short on chips, a player opened holding {4-}{4-} and called a shove from Moneymaker, holding {a-}{9-}. The fours held to bust the former champ.

Moneymaker has never really played a full schedule of events at the World Series of Poker since his life-changing victory, but it would take something drastic to prevent him from playing the Main Event, which starts tomorrow.
