2023 World Series of Poker
No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw
Dan Smith limp-jammed into a raise by Andrew Brown in a battle of the blinds and both players patted. Smith showed his 9x8x7x6x2x and that was good, as Brown only briefly showed his 10x7x4x3x2x. The showdown left Brown very short and he bowed out soon after.
"I just watched Dan Smith double again ... he had dust," Phil Hellmuth provided the commentary in the table chat.

No Limit 2-7 Single Draw
Action folded to Koray Aldemir in the cutoff who opened to 16,000. Next to act was Michael Noori who three-bet to 70,000. Ben Yu, in the big blind, put in a cold four-bet to the tune of 190,000.
Aldemir quickly got out of the way and Noori went into the tank. Eventually, he settled on a call.
Yu stood pat and Noori drew one. Yu checked to Noori who checked behind.
Yu immediately fanned out 7x6x5x3x2x for a pat number three and Noori mucked.

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo
Chris Brewer: A♦A♥/3♠Q♠10♠7♠/K♣
Daniel Alaei: 8♠6♥/4♠6♦8♦J♦/K♠
A short-stacked Chris Brewer completed on third street and got called by Daniel Alaei. Brewer then got his final chips in on fourth with Alaei calling.
Brewer's aces were ahead of Alaei's sixes, but a second pair of eights on fifth street gave Alaei the advantage.
Brewer couldn't improve his aces and he was sent to the rail, where he'll likely return to enjoying his $250,000 Super High-Roller victory and the more than $5,000,000 that came with it from Sunday.

Phil Hellmuth raised to 20,000 on the button and Dan Smith three-bet to 70,000 out of the small blind. Andrew Brown sigh-folded with a short stack behind and witnessed how Hellmuth and Smith got it in with the latter at risk.
Dan Smith: K♠Q♠10♦7♦
Phil Hellmuth: A♥J♥3♠2♣
The 6♣6♥6♦ flop let Brown burst out in agony as he mentioned to have folded a six. Smith was in need of luck and got there with the K♦ turn and 9♦ river as he improved to a flush.

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw
Picking action up with about 130,000 in the pot already on the second draw, Yuri Dzivielevski was first to act and drew one, as did Tommy Hang behind him, While Paul Volpe drew two in late position.
Action checked through to the final draw and everyone now drew one. Dzivielevski and Hang checked, which led to a bet from Volpe.
Only Dzivielevski called to see Volpe's 8x7x6x4x2x for a winner that left Hang under 100,000 chips after his fold at the end.

Chris Brewer was down to his last 39,000 chips when he raised in middle position and got three-bet by Dan Cates in the small blind.
Brewer committed his final chips and was at risk.
Chris Brewer: A♦Q♥
Dan Cates: K♦10♦
The board came 2♣5♥7♥A♥Q♣, giving Brewer a winning two pair to survive and further shorten Cates' stack.
Since that hand a round of No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw orbited the table with Cates picking up a couple of pots with preflop raises, while Brewer also scored a few more chips after getting shorter with a virtual all-in that didn't get called.
