There was heads-up action between Andrew Gordon sitting from late position and Steven Wright from the cutoff.

and Wright moved the rest of his chips in the middle. Gordon was hesitant until Wright said, "you have me beat." Gordon let that settle in and then called for his remaining stack.

In a four-way pot the flop was 
. The big blind checked, Ryankoma Fenton led out for 800, Edmonds called, the player to his left called as well and the big blind folded.
The 
landed on the turn, Fenton checked, Edmonds bet out 2,500, the opponent on his left raised it up to 7,200 and Fenton quickly got out of the way. Edmonds then announced he was "all-in" for roughly 32,700 and his opponent called off his 27,500 chips.

Edmonds flopped a full house and his opponent had turned a straight, however, he was not drawing dead as the seven of spades would give him a straight-flush. Before the 
even hit the river the opponent had already given up hope and walked away from the table.

Action folded to Joshua Berthiaume who shoved for his remaining 12,100, Terrache snap-called and tabled 
for a flopped set.
Berthiaume held 
for the hand that Doyle Brunson famously won back-to-back Main Events with, and needed a spade to secure the double, which the turn gave him straight away.
Terrache needed the board to pair or the last four to knock out Berthiaume, but the 
river was no help giving Berthiaume the full double.
