Gonzalez Can't Hit the Straight

Nível 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

There was heads-up action after the flop between the blinds and Arthur Gonzalez fired out 4,500 into a pot of 3,000 from the small blind with the board showing {6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. His opponent three-bet jammed for 30,100 and Gonzalez called.

Arthur Gonzalez: {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Gonzalez was behind the pocket kings of his opponent but had the open-ended straight draw with two cards to still to come.

The {a-Diamonds} was no help to Gonzalez and nor was the {7-Hearts} on the river, meaning he doubled his opponent.

Tracey Survives His All-In

Nível 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

There was roughly 7,000 in the middle on the flop of {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, Stanley Krasner checked from the big blind, David Tracey bet out 5,200, the button called and Krasner check-raised to 15,000. Tracey quickly put in the rest of his chips for 10,400 total and the button got out of the way.

David Tracey: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Stanley Krasner: {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Krasner flopped two pair but Tracey still had a flush draw, and the {4-Diamonds} came on the turn giving Tracey his flush. The river couldn't pair up for Krasner as the {q-Spades} fell, doubling Tracey up.

Zalagh Can't Bluff Smith Off His Trips

Nível 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

With a board showing {5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and 26,400 already in the pot, Barry Smith found himself with a tough decision after checking the {q-Diamonds} river to Youcef Zalagh who bet out 10,500 which was almost half of the pot.

Smith kept looking back and forth between his hand and the board, trying to convince himself to make the call. He eventually talked himself into making the right decision and tossed in the chips.

Barry Smith: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Youcef Zalagh: {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Zalagh's bluff almost worked representing the flush, but Smith couldn't lay down his trip queens and made the correct call as he raked in the chips.

Pena Hits a Lucky River to Fill Up

Nível 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

There was roughly 2,500 in the middle on the flop of {8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Randy Davis, who was first to act in early position, led out for 3,000.

Edgar Pena who was in the hijack called and saw a {9-Spades} turn. Davis continued betting 7,000 which Pena again quickly called.

The {a-Clubs} river paired the board, but this didn't slow Davis down as he bet 9,000. After Pena cut out a raise and threw 23,000 in the pot he put Davis to a decision.

After announcing "I cant fold" Davis made the call only to see the bad news when Pena tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for a rivered a full house.

Davis showed the table {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, for a flopped bottom set and also an inferior full house on the river.
