Blake Bohn Eliminated in 15th Place ($208,968)

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Blake Bohn - 15th Place
Blake Bohn - 15th Place

Blake Bohn open-shoved on the button, Richard Fullerton called all in for 1,005,000 from the small blind, and the big blind released.

Bohn: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Fullerton: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Fullerton won the race as the board came {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}, doubling to 2,180,000 chips.

Bohn was eliminated the very next hand when he moved all in for 450,000 from the cutoff. Martin Finger re-shoved from the small blind, and the big blind folded.

Bohn: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Finger: {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Bohn remained ahead after the {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop, but the {k-Spades} turned, leaving Bohn with just three outs to survive. The {8-Diamonds} bricked off on the river, and Bohn, who finished runner-up in Event #14, hit the rail in 15th place.

Finger is up above two million chips.

Full Double for Finger

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Richard Fullerton raised to 225,000 out of the cutoff, Martin Finger moved all in for 620,000 on the button, and the action folded back to Fullerton, who called.

Fullerton: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Finger: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Finger found a six on the {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, taking the lead, and the turn was the {7-Diamonds}. Fullerton was now open-ended, and any eight on the river would also eliminate Finger.

The German avoided elimination when the {j-Diamonds} bricked off on the river though, doubling to 1.46 million chips. Fullerton fell to 1.015 million.

Some Hands from the Feature Table

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #1: After Bill Perkins opened for 250,000, Lawrence Greenberg then moved all in from the small blind for approximately 2 million. The big got out of the way and Perkins took his time before relinquishing his hand.

Hand #2: Bill Perkins opened for 250,000 and took down the blinds.

Hand #3: Brandon Steven opened for 210,000 from the button only to have Bill Perkins three-bet all in from the big blind. Steven, who is enjoying a massage at the feature table, laid down his hand.

Hand #4: Antonio Esfandiari opened for 210,000 under the gun, Jeremy Ausmus called from the big blind and it was heads-up action to the flop, which came down the {7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Ausmus checked, Esfandiari bet 240,000 and the {q-Diamonds} turned after Ausmus made the call. The Octo-Niner checked for a second time, Esfandiari followed suit and the {K-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Again it went check-check and Ausmus showed the {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a pair of sevens and the win.

Gregg Takes from Bohn; Bohn Shoves Twice

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

With a dead small blind, Anthony Gregg raised to 200,000 from early position. Blake Bohn defended his big blind, and the flop fell {10-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {5-Spades}, Bohn led out for 250,000, and Gregg called. The two knuckled again when the {a-Clubs} completed the board, and Bohn tabled {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for effectively six-high.

Gregg showed {10-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a pair of tens and raked in the pot.

Two hands later, Bohn shoved all in in late position. No one called. The very next hand, Bohn took down the blinds and antes once again with another all-in bet.

Mike Sexton Eliminated in 16th Place ($208,968)

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Mike Sexton - 16th Place
Mike Sexton - 16th Place

Chris Klodnicki opened to 200,000 on the button, Olivier Busquet called in the small blind, and Mike Sexton moved all in for 700,000 from the big blind. Klodnicki called the shove, while Busquet opted to fold.

Klodnicki: {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Sexton: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

At the sight of Klodnicki's hand, Busquet started to laugh.

The flop fell {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, giving Klodnicki a leading pair of fives, and he held as the turn and river came {q-Hearts}, {4-Spades} respectively. Sexton, who cashed in the Big One last year, exited in 16th place, earning $208,968.

Daniel Alaei Eliminated in 17th Place ($173,723)

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Alaei - 17th Place
Daniel Alaei - 17th Place

Olivier Busquet raised to 200,000 from under the gun, Daniel Alaei three-bet shoved for a little over a million from the cutoff, and the action folded back to Busquet.

"I don't think I can lay this down," Busquet said, calling.

Busquet: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Alaei: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Busquet had Alaei dominated, but Alaei snatched the lead away when the flop fell {4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}. The {q-Clubs} on the turn gave Busquet four more outs to regain the lead - any king would give him Broadway - and the river was indeed a king, the {k-Hearts}.

Alaei was eliminated in 17th place, earning $173,723, and the remaining 16 players are now redrawing to the final two tables.

Andrew Lichtenberger Eliminated in 18th Place ($173,723)

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger - 18th Place
Andrew Lichtenberger - 18th Place

Action folded to Andrew Lichtenberger in the hijack and he moved all in for right around 1.2 million. Anthony Gregg was next to act in the cutoff and asked for an exact count before moving all in over the top. The rest of the players folded and Lichtenberger was in bad shape.

Lichtenberger: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Gregg: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Lichtenberger had picked up walking stick but ran them straight into pocket rockets. The {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop gave Lichteneberger some hope to a runner-runner straight, but the {A-Hearts} turn immediately dashed them as it left "lucky chewy" drawing dead. The meaningless {8-Clubs} was put out on the river for good measure and Lichtenberger took his leave in 18th place.

Esfandiari Uses One Time & Literally Leaps Three Feet Off the Ground

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Antonio Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari

Connor Drinan opened for 225,000 from the hijack and received a call from Bill Perkins in the cutoff. Antonio Esfandiari then three-bet all in for 1.85 million and Drinan thought long and hard before moving all in himself. Perkins folded and it was off to the races.

Esfandiari: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Drinan: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The entire rail surrounding the ESPN Main Stage were up on their feet with most of them calling for either an ace or queen. It was clear that Esfandiari, who won last year's Big One for One Drop, is the fan favorite at the feature table. Esfandiari seemed a bit giddy as well, but his excitement soon turned to despair when the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop failed to help other than to give him a counterfeit opportunity.

The {5-Hearts} turn kept Drinan firmly in the lead, and Esfandiari needed either an ace, queen or seven to keep his One Drop hopes alive. "One time," Esfandiari said aloud. Wouldn't you know it, he got it when the {A-Clubs} peeled off.

Esfandiari literally jumped three feet off the ground as the crowd went wild. The three-time bracelet winner then rushed over to his rail where his father and girlfriend have been sweating the action all day. Esfandiari embraced his dad in a monster hug and nearly pulled him over the rail.

Takeover Times Two

Nível 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Nick Schulman moved all in for 1.11 million from under the gun. Martin Finger re-shoved in the hijack seat, and the rest of the players released their hands.

Schulman: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Finger: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Schulman flopped a pair of nines when the dealer fanned {5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, improved to trips when the {9-Spades} turned, and successfully doubled when the {10-Hearts} completed the board. He now sits with 2.43 million chips, while Finger is down to 1.04 million.
