Martin Finger Eliminated in 14th Place ($251,549)

Nível 24 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante
Martin Finger - 14th Place
Martin Finger - 14th Place

Chris Klodnicki opened to 240,000 from under the gun, Martin Finger three-bet shoved for 1.31 million on the button, and both blinds released. Klodnicki tanked for two minutes, then finally called.

Klodnicki: {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Finger: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Klodnicki was dominated, but flopped a backdoor flush draw when the flop fell {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn kept the draw alive, and Klodnicki made his flush when the {10-Diamonds} spiked on the river.

Finger was eliminated in 14th place, earning $251,549.

"Yeah," Klodnicki said after the hand. "I don't know if that was a good call."

"Well you clearly sent a message," Nick Schulman said.

Martin Jacobson opened for 240,000 and Antonio Esfandiari called from the big blind. Jacobson then bet 200,000 on the {q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, Esfandiari called and the {7-Diamonds} turned. Jacobson checked, Esfandiari bet 380,000 and Jacobson folded. Esfandiari won the last hand at the feature table before the dinner break.

Perkins Lays It Down

Nível 24 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Bill Perkins opened for 250,000 and Lawrence Greenberg called from the small blind. Brandon Steven came along from the big and three players saw a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Steven wasted little time in moving all in for 1.7 million after Greenberg checked and Perkins, as he's prone to do, took his fair share of time before acting. Eventually he folded and Greenberg did the same.

Perkins then whispered to his friend Antonio Esfandiari. "The Magician" gave Perkins a nod as if he should have called, and Perkins responded, "I though he flopped two pair."

"Not a shot," Esfandiari said. Matt Glantz shook his head in agreement. We're not sure what Perkins had, but it must have been fairly decent.
