Despite fielding several objections from the surviving players, Day 2 of Event #47: $111,111 One Drop High Rollers No-Limit Hold'em ended two players away from the money. At the end of the 10th and final level of the day, the tournament staff called Jack Effel, the Vice President of the World Series of Poker, who ruled that the players would bag-and-tag rather than burst the bubble. There were then complaints when the players learned that there would be a total redraw, but this is a standard WSOP rule. At the completion of each day at the WSOP, there is a total redraw, unless the players have already redrawn to three tables. The redraw hasn't happened yet in Event 47, thus the remaining 26 players were randomly dispersed. You can find the table draw below.

Leading the surviving players is Swede Martin Jacobson. Jacobson bagged 3,255,000, just 5,000 more than Connor Drinan, and two other players will enter Day 3 with over three million chips: Day 1 chip leader Brandon Steven (3,140,00) and East Coast legend Matt Glantz (3,005,000). Drinan surged at the end of the night when he was moved to the feature table, immediately four-betting and then taking a key pot off of Haralabos Voulgaris. Jacobson and Drinan are both seated at the same table tomorrow, and we'll keep our eyes pealed for potential fireworks.

Also joining the chip leaders on Day 3 is the winner of the Big One for One Drop Antonio Esfandiari (2,970,000), 2013 WSOP bracelet winner Martin Finger (2,910,000), Bill "Leroy Jenkins" Perkins (2,750,000), Phil Laak (1,760,000), Anthony "End Boss" Gregg (1,750,000), Shaun Deeb (1,215,000), and 2012 Octo-Niner Jeremy Ausmus (995,000).

While these players prospered, others were unable to survive the day. Eugene Katchalov, Owais Ahmed, Dan Kelly, Jason Mo, Tobias Reinkemeir, Jason Senti, Jason Somerville, Joe Kuether, Jason Mercier, Kyle Julius, and Daniel Negreanu all fell short of the $173,723 minimum cash.

Play will resume on Friday at 1 p.m. PDT in the Blue Section of the Amazon Room. The plan is to play until a winner is crowned, but with a six-figure final bubble looming and then a final table bubble to come right after that, there is a possibility that this event expands to four days. We hope that you join us tomorrow, but for now, good night from Sin City!

Bagging & Tagging

• Nível 20: 25,000-50,000, 5,000 ante

The final 26 players are now bagging and tagging with the end of Level 20, although the majority of the field voiced their opinion that they would like to play through to the money. They'll also be redrawing for tomorrow, which several of the players didn't seem to think was right because then there will be another redraw for the final three tables.

At any rate, stay tuned for the redraw, official counts and a full recap of the Day 2 action.

Bohn Doubles at End of the Night

• Nível 20: 25,000-50,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Shak raised from the cutoff and then called when Blake Bohn shoved for 505,000 from the button.

Shak: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Bohn: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Bohn was ahead and looking to avoid an ace, which he did after the board ran out {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Haralabob Takes a Hit, Then Doubles Back

Haralabos Voulgaris
Haralabos Voulgaris

Haralabos Voulgaris opened to 110,000 from the hijack seat, Conor Drinan defended his big blind, and the flop fell {5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Drinan checked, Voulgaris continued for 130,000, and Drinan called.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds}, Drinan opted to lead out for 230,000, and Voulgaris flicked his cards into the muck.

The very next hand, Voulgaris open-shoved for 525,000 from under-the-gun-plus-one. The action folded to Olivier Busquet, who snap-called in the big blind.

Voulgaris: {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Busquet: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Voulgaris flopped top two when the dealer spread {2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}, and held as the turn and river came {8-Spades}, {a-Diamonds} respectively. He now sits with 1.11 million chips, while Drinan and Busquet have 3.85 million and 2.3 million respectively.

Dealer Forgets To Burn; Shak Gets Second Shot

[user68268] • Nível 20: 25,000-50,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Shak raised from under the gun, Daniel Alaei moved all in from the hijack seat for around 600,000, and Shak made the call. Shak held the {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, but was behind the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for Alaei.

The flop, turn and river ran out {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{J-Spades}... but wait! The dealer forgot to burn before the river, so Shak actually had a second shot on fifth street to suck out. The {10-Spades} came off, though, and Alaei doubled up.

Koon Squats Esfandiari ... Literally

• Nível 20: 25,000-50,000, 5,000 ante
Jason Koon on Day 1
Jason Koon on Day 1

Blake Bohn raised from early position and then called when Jason Koon three-bet all in from the button for 720,000.

Bohn: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Koon: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Like we've seen so many times this evening, it was a flip. Koon was the one at risk, so he was understandably excited when the {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop paired his king and gave him a commanding lead. In fact, Koon, who is a documented fitness nut, was so excited that he literally picked up Antonio Esfandiari, put him on his shoulders and did three squats.

The {3-Diamonds} turn and {2-Clubs} river kept Koon in the lead, and when after he put Esfandiari back on the ground, he returned to twice as many chips as he'd had just a moment before.

Chae's Kings Can't Hold

• Nível 20: 25,000-50,000, 5,000 ante

Hyoung Chae opened for 100,000 from the hijack and Matt Glantz called from the button. Both blinds folded, the flop came down {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Chae continued for 200,000. Glantz popped it to 500,00, Chae moved all in for 800,000 or so and Glantz called.

Chae: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Glantz: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Glantz had flopped top pair but he was still behind the pocket kings of Chae. The {Q-Clubs} turn changed nothing but the {A-Hearts} river did as Glantz spiked two pair to crack Chae's kings and send him to the rail in 27th place.
