When Day 3 of Event #31: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-low 8-or-Better began, Jarred Graham was the short stack of the remaining 14 players. Seven levels and change later, Graham possessed all of the chips and the coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet.
Graham wasted little time getting his chips in, doing so within the first 20 minutes of the day. He doubled through Grzegorz Derkowski, and Derkowski busted shortly thereafter. He was followed to the payout desk by Andy Seth, Mel Randolph, David Brooker, and Stephen Johnson before the official final table was set.
Congratulations to Jarred Graham for winning his first WSOP bracelet and earning $255,942. Thanks for following our updates and until next time, good night from Las Vegas!
Marco Johnson had worked his stack back up to over a million before the final hand of the tournament. Action started with Johnson raising it up to 160,000, and Jarred Graham reraised to 480,000. Johnson tanked for about 90 seconds before making the call, and the flop came down , and Graham instantly bet pot, enough to put Johnson all in. Johnson stood up out of his chair, and began mumbling some numbers to himself, trying to figure out if he had the odds to call off. The last thing he said was, "I have a pair I have to call."

Johnson was looking to pick up a second pair to take the lead, or catch running low cards for a low. However, the on the turn ended things, giving Graham an unbeatable set of kings. The meaningless river was the , and Johnson had to settle for his third career runner-up finish at a WSOP event.
Barry Greenstein raised to 125,000 on the button and Jarred Graham defended his big blind.
The flop came down and Graham checked to Greenstein who bet 100,000. Graham raised the pot, Greenstein reraised all in for about 700,000, and Graham called.

The crew is back to discuss all of the recent bracelet winners at the 2013 World Series of Poker, including Tom Schneider, Jason Duval, and Isaac Hagerling. They also talk with Jason Koon, who reached the semi-finals of the Mixed Max event and made the final table of a $1,000 buy-in event.
Jarred Graham raised to 80,000 in the cutoff and Noomis Jones called on the button.
The flop came down and Graham continued for 105,000. Jones called after a few moments and the landed on the turn. Graham bet the pot of 430,000 and after a few moments, Jones called all in for about 395,000 with . Graham was ahead with and held up through the river to score the elimination.
No more then two hands after Eric Rodawig busted in 7th place, Loni Harwood bowed out in 6th. It was once again Noomis Jones who did the dirty work, as he started the hand by raising to 90,000. Harwood made the call, and they went heads up to a flop of . Jones was first to act, and he announced pot, a bet of 225,000. Harwood then shoved all in, and Jones made the call.
Harwood:
Jones:
Both stacks were virtually even, though Harwood was the one at risk with just 20,000 less than Jones. Harwood was looking for any low card for half the pot, or a four would scoop the pot for her. The turn was the , and Harwood was down to her last card. That card was the , and Harwood was eliminated, taking home just under $40,000.
Meanwhile, Jones has emerged as the biggest threat to Barry Greenstein and his mountain of chips, as Jones is now up to 985,000.
Noomis Jones raised to 105,000 in early position, and as soon as it folded to Eric Rodawig in the big blind, he announced "pot". Jones said he was all in, and Rodawig called him down.
Rodawig:
Jones:
The flop came down , and Jones took the lead with a pair of kings. Rodawig was looking for any low card to take half the pot, but he didn't get it on the turn, or the river.
Rodawig will take home just over $30,000 for his efforts, while Jones is now up to 500,000.
Marco Johnson raised to 60,000 in the cutoff and Noomis Jones called from the small blind. Joao Simao three-bet all in from the big blind for 90,000 total and Johnson reraised the pot.
"I don't understand why you would do that," Jones said before folding.
Johnson:
Simao:
The flop came down , giving Simao a flush draw. The turn paired Johnson, but gave Simao the nut low. However, the river fell to give Johnson a wheel to scoop the pot and score the elimination.
Perry Green came into today with a slight chip lead, but he wasn't able to ride it to the end, as he was just eliminated in ninth place. Barry Greenstein made it 75,000 to go from the small blind, and Green called from the big blind. The flop came down , and Greenstein fired out 100,000. Green then moved all in, and greenstein made the call.
Greenstein:
Green:
Greenstein had the nut low draw, and could also catch a nine to take the high part of the hand. Well, the dealer obliged with a on the turn, and Green was looking fora club and a club only. The river was black, but it was the , and Green became our first final table causality.
Meanwhile, Greenstein extended his already lengthy chip lead, as he now has 1.56 million.
