Fourth List of Notables

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Don't Push Putt Around

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

With 850 in the pot and a flop of {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, the player in the cutoff bet 300 and Graeme Putt min-raised to 600 from the button. The cutoff called and then led out for 500 on the {7-Clubs} turn. Putt quickly called and then tossed in 700 more when the cutoff bet the {J-Diamonds} river.

The cutoff showed the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a missed flush draw that turned into a pair of jacks, but it was no good as Putt held two pair with the {8-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Successful Table

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Table 42 is host to several players who’ve all shared in recent success over the past week here at the World Series of Poker. $2,200 Six-Max No-Limit Hold’em champion Alexander Antonios and $1,650 8-Game Dealer’s Choice champion Rory Young are both seated at the table as well as Kahle Burns.

Last year Burn’s finished 5th in the WSOP APAC Main event and has already had two top-ten finishes during this year’s series.

Brummelhuis' Turn Bet Does the Trick

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

With around 1,500 in the pot and a flop of {8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, the under-the-gun player checked and Michiel Brummelhuis, who finished seventh in the 2013 WSOP Main Event for $1,225,356, bet 675 from the cutoff. His opponent called and then checked the {A-Hearts} turn. Brummelhuis bet again, this time 1,125, and it proved enough to take down the pot as his opponent quickly released his hand.

Rubie Drops Some Early

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

The hand started with Brendon Rubie raising to 250 from the hijack. The player in the cut off made the call before the player on the button bumped it up to 750. Only Rubie called as both players watched the flop come down {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

Rubie check-called a bet of 750 before both players checked the {j-Hearts} on the turn. The {6-Hearts} completed the board and Rubie reached for his chips and bet out 800. His opponent made the call and tabled his {a-Spades}{a-Spades} for the winning hand after Rubie showed his {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.
