Ike Sends Another One Home

Nível 10 : 70,000/140,000, 15,000 ante

Isaac Haxton can not be stopped. His most recent exploits have seen him rake in all of Hong-Kong based Aussie David Steicke's chips. The hand saw Steicke shove for just under 1.5 million from early position holding {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Haxton made the call with his {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} from the big blind.

Steicke hit a pair of sevens on the {3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop, but Haxton hit a pair of nines to stay in front. With a {4-Hearts} turn and a {3-Clubs} river, that was Steicke's tournament in the bag.

Haxton is now on around 17 million and continues to well and truly hold a big chip lead over his nearest competitor.

Powell Powering, Richard Railed

Nível 10 : 70,000/140,000, 15,000 ante

A big hand recently took place over on Table Four. We arrived at the action with Richard Yong already all in for around 3 million, while Brian Powell was also already all in for his stack in excess of 3.5 million. At this point recent GDAM Warm-Up champion Nick Wong was in the tank, having committed around 1 million before Yong and Powell had moved all in.

"This doesn't make sense!" said Wong as he stood out of his chair. Eventually he opted to let his hand go and it turned out to be a good decision with Yong tabling {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Powell turning over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}.

The {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board was a safe one for Powell and just like that he had stormed up the chip leader board, now sitting with around 8 million in chips. Yong on the other hand finds himself on the rail.

Fast Eliminations and Ike Still Crushing

Nível 10 : 70,000/140,000, 15,000 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier and Aussie Kyle Cheong have both just made their way out of the tournament area as the two latest players to be eliminated.

In other news: "Isaac Haxton is up over 15 million," said Danny McDonagh over the speakers. "We might get the ten-million chip plaques out soon."

Duhamel Done and Dusted

Nível 10 : 70,000/140,000, 15,000 ante

We have just been told about a big hand over on the feature live streaming table which saw Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel eliminated at the hands of Australian Jeff Rossiter.

The final hand of Duhamel's tournament saw the 2010 WSOP Main Event champion all-in preflop holding {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} against the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Rossiter. The {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Spades}{4-Hearts} board gave Duhamel a little bit of a sweat, but alas, it wasn't meant to be as Duhamel was sent packing after starting the day as the chip leader.

The Ike Gets Richer

Nível 10 : 70,000/140,000, 15,000 ante
Isaac Haxton in control on Day 2
Isaac Haxton in control on Day 2

PokerStars Team Online Isaac Haxton has continued his surge up the chip leader board, recently dealing the fatal blow to Dan Smith.

Smith and Haxton got all the chips in preflop, with Smith at-risk holding {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and being very unlucky to run into Haxton's {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}.

The {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board wasn't pretty for Smith as he was sent packing a few tables short of surviving the day. Haxton is now up to around 13 million and is currently the only player to be in control of an eight-figure chip stack.

Tore Quickly Eliminated Following Break

Nível 10 : 70,000/140,000, 15,000 ante

"All in and call!" came the cry from Table Seven just a few minutes after play recommenced following the break.

It was Norway's Tore Lukashaugan all in and at risk holding {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} against the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of JC Alvarado. Lukashaugan was looking good up to the turn on a {q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{q-Diamonds} board, but the {10-Hearts} river gave Alvarado a bigger pair and just like that Lukashaugan was sent home.
