Fedor Holz defended his big blind against the under-the-gun raise of Stephen Chidwick and then check-called a bet on the 
flop. The 
on the turn was checked through and the 
river completed the board. Holz checked, Chidwick bet 24,900 into a pot of 12,000 and received a reluctantly call.
The Brit revealed 
for the nut flush and Holz mucked. At the time of the showdown, Jean-Noel Thorel had taken his seat on the very same table.
The players started out with 250,000 in chips today. Counting them is kind of tough as there are several different chips and some look very much alike.
There are the 100 chips, mostly used for putting up the ante, they have 500 chips, 1,000 chips, 5,000 chips, and 25,000 chips. Oh, and then there's the single 100,000 chips the players received. Those are rare, and some players have them kind of hidden underneath a large tower of chips. We'll make sure we don't miss counting that chip as they make all the difference.
For the first forty minutes or so they were playing four-handed at Chidwick's table. Now Vladimir Troyanovsky joined but still it's very much short handed.
We saw Stephen Chidwick raise to 2,500 from the button and Connor Drinan in the big blind made the call. Drinan check called a 3,000 bet on 
and 8,000 on the 
turn. The river was the 
and now Drinan check folded to Chidwick's 20,000 bet.
Not much later though, Drinan would get those chips back. We missed the pre flop action but imagine Drinan opened from the button and Chidwick called from the big blind. Both players checked on 
and the 
fell on the turn. Chidwick bet out 6,000 and Drinan made the call. The 
on the river made Chidwick bet out 17,500. After some deliberation Drinan raised it up to 50,000. Chidwick almost instantly folded and the pot was pushed to Drinan.
Ole Schemion raised to 3,000 from the button and Andrew Chen called out of the big blind to see the flop of 
. Both players checked and Schemion then bet 1,000 on the 
turn. Chen check-called and there was no further action on the river. Chen turned over 
and that won the pot.
Steve O’Dwyer opened to 3,000 from under the gun and was called by Timothy Adams to his left. The action landed on Mike Watson in the small blind and he bumped it up to 13,500. O’Dwyer got out of the way and Adams called.
The dealer spread out the 
flop before Watson threw out a continuation bet of 12,500 which was called.
Both players checked the on the turn as the 
dropped on the river. Watson checked before Adams slid out a bet of 12,700. It was enough to take down the pot as Watson mucked his hand.
The hand started with Joao Vieira raising to 3,000 from the hijack and getting called by Juha Helppi on the big blind.
The flop came down 
and Helppi check called a continuation bet of 4,100. The fell on the turn and another bet of 8,100 was check called by Helppi before the completed the board.
Facing a third check, Vieira led out for 18,600 and was snap called. He tabled his 
for top two pair and won the pot when Helppi threw his cards into the muck.
Fedor Holz defended his small blind against the button-raise of Connor Drinan and then check-called a bet of 3,500 on the 
flop. The WCOOP Main Event champion of this year check-called another 9,000 on the 
turn and also checked the 
on the river. Drinan bet 25,000 and the German gave it some thought before tossing in four blue T-5,000 chips.
Drinan turned over for a full house and Holz mucked.
The tournament started a little late, but the "Shuffle up and deal" has sounded and the players have started putting there chips to work. Some more players we saw taking their seats:
