Do You Got the Time?

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The screens displaying the tournament clock aren't working at the moment. According to tournament director Thomas Lamasch it's a small technical problem that will be fixed in 10 minutes. In the meantime, the clocks are running but they're just not showing.

Paul Newey
Paul Newey

In one of the very last hands of the previous level, Leonid Markin bet 7,500 on the {K-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {7-Clubs} flop and Paul Newey called before the {4-Clubs} fell on the turn. Markin fired 15,000 and Newey called to see the {3-Clubs} on the river. Now Markin checked and called a bet of 19,000 by Newey to get shown {5-Clubs} {6-Clubs} for a straight flush!

Huge Pot Between Raskin and McDonald before the Break

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

In the very last hand of level two, Micah Raskin and Mike McDonald got involved in a big pot that lasted five minutes into the break. Dmitry Gromov raised to 2,600 and Micah Raskin three-bet 6,500 on the button. McDonald cold four-bet to 20,000 and only Raskin called that to see the {K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} flop.

McDonald bet 18,000 and Raskin raised to 45,000, which prompted a call by the Canadian. After the {2-Clubs} on the turn, McDonald check-called a bet of 50,000 and Raskin then bet massive 100,000 after the {3-Clubs} river. McDonald gave it a lot of thought before releasing his cards.

Break

Nível 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Kings Are Good!

Nível 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Brian Roberts
Brian Roberts

Brian Roberts opened to 3,000 from the hijack and next door neighbor Jean-Noel Thorel made the call. Olivier Busquet in the small blind squeezed out a bet of 12,000 and both Roberts and Thorel called.

Busquet bet out 16,000 on {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Roberts made the call, Thorel folded. Busquet followed up on his pre and post flop aggression with a bet of 45,000 on the {9-Clubs} turn. Again Roberts flatted in position.

The {Q-Clubs} fell on the river and Busquet checked, looking at a fixed point in the room without moving his head much for quite some time. Roberts thought about it for a bit before checking behind. Now unfrozen Busquet announced "Queen!" while rolling over the queen-jack. Roberts showed his {K-Diamonds}{K-} and took it down.

Shak also checked the {2-Spades} on the river and Schemion bet 25,000 only to snap-fold when Shak raised to 75,000. The American flashed the {10-Clubs} for a full house.

Vogelsang Takes On Haxton

Nível 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{q-Clubs} Isaac Haxton checked from the big blind. Christoph Vogelsang bet out 6,000 and was called.

The {9-Hearts} on the turn saw Haxton check call another bet of 14,000 before both players checked the {3-Diamonds} on the river.

Haxton then turned over his {10-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for a pair of tens but it was no good against Vogelsang who rolled over his {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a higher pair.
