Buss Busted

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Walter Buss shoved his small stack all in from the cutoff and Adrien Guyon in the big blind just about instantly called. Buss showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and the Belgian player was up against {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

The {A-Clubs} in the window was a good start for Buss, but the other two community cards weren't as good: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The {K-Diamonds} on the turn gave Buss some outs, but the {2-Clubs} on the river wasn't one of them. The experienced Buss hit the rail, Guyon started stacking.

Grospellier Knocks Out Aghayev

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier

For the second time within the past few minutes, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier had a short stack at risk and this time it was Emin Aghayev for 50,000 with {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}. Grospellier had two live cards with {K-Spades} {J-Spades} and this time he scored the knockout after a board of {6-Spades} {7-Spades} {5-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}.

El Khoury Spikes River

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Joseph El Khoury was all in and at risk for his last 59,000 with {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} on the feature table and faced the {K-Spades} {J-Hearts} of Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier. The {2-Spades} {J-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} flop was good for the Frenchman, the {J-Spades} turn even greater. However, El Khoury survived thanks to the {10-Diamonds} river and both players are almost even in chips now.

Visser Busts Troyanovskiy

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

In the last hand before the break right after the bubble had burst, Ruben Visser shoved from the small blind holding ace-queen. Big blind Vladimir Troyanovskiy made the call all in for his remaining 35,000 in the big blind with pocket tens and flopped a full house to double.

The first hand after the break Visser doubled Troyanovskiy again. Visser open shoved the button for effectively ten big blinds holding pocket deuces. Troyanovskiy woke up with pocket aces in the small blind and of course called. Troyanovskiy won the hand and doubled.

Just now Visser won all those chips back though. After a raise to 13,000 and a call, Visser squeezed to 38,000. Behind him Troyanovskiy shoved for about 60,000. Action folded back to Visser who called with {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}. Troyanovskiy had {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and failed to improve enough on {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

Butzhammer Busts to Aido

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Sergio Aido raised to 12,000 and snap-called the three-bet shove of Thomas Butzhammer for 39,000 with {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades}. The last German in the Main Event was looking for many hearts or an ace, but the dealer burned and turned the {J-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {K-Clubs} {3-Clubs} board. Butzhammer is on the rail and for the first time in EPT Season 11, no German will be on a final table of the Main Event.

Tedeschi Turfed Out

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Paul-Francois Tedeschi had the last of his chips in the middle with {a-Spades}{9-Spades} and got a call from Aliaksei Boika holding {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

The cards ran out {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and the jacks held to bust Tedeschi.

MacPhee Busts Tayeb

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The flop was {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Kevin MacPhee bet enough to put Sophie Tayeb all in.

Tayeb gave it some thought, took a deep breath, and made the call. A good call as it turned out as he tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and MacPhee showed {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

Tayeb would rap the table though when the turn brought the {a-Diamonds} to giv MacPhee top pair and the river {2-Clubs} completed the board.

Hoedemaker Falls to Piechaczyk

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Micha Hoedemaker was all in and at risk before the flop against Olivier Piechaczyk for his last 96,000. The hands were revealed to find Hoedemaker in a commanding position.

Hoedemaker: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Piechaczyk: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, keeping Hoedemaker's ace-jack high out in front. The {3-Hearts} fell on the turn, prompting Hoedemaker to look away from the table while the dealer produced the final card. Unfortunately for Hoedemaker, he looked back to see the {10-Hearts} sitting on the felt, ensuring his elimination from play. He stood up from the table and made a quick exit from the tournament area while Piechaczyk increased his stack to about 750,000.

Three-Way All In Eliminates Villa-Lobos and Ravnsbaek

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Simon Ravnsbaek
Simon Ravnsbaek

Simon Ravnsbaek moved all in and Nicolau Villa-Lobos put his remaining stack at risk from one seat over as well. Yet another shorter stack did so too from the small blind and Aliaksei Boika had the opponents covered, flipping over {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds}. Ravnsbaek had the weakest hand in {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} and Villa-Lobos needed his {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} to hold up.

With the board running out {A-Clubs} {10-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {3-Hearts}, two seat open on table 11 occurred and both the Dane and the Brazilian headed to the payout desk to collect their min cash worth €8,810.

Katchalov Busts to Kapalas

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Eugene Katchalov
Eugene Katchalov

Filippo Lazzaretto was the first player to join the rail shortly after the restart of the new level and then Eugene Katchalov faced a raise of Georgios Kapalas to 12,000 and a call. The Team PokerStars Pro moved all in for what looked like 85,000 and Kapalas announced that he was all in as well. The third player in the hand folded and the following showdown took place:

Katchalov: {9-Spades} {9-Diamonds}
Kapalas: {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}

There would be no help for Katchalov on a {J-Hearts} {7-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} board and Kapalas extended his lead.
