Bystroem Eliminated by Ivarsson

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Laurent Cessy opened the action with a raise to 7,000 and he was called by Alexander Ivarsson from one seat over. It then folded all the way to Erik Bystroem who moved all in for 51,000 and that forced out Cessy. However, Ivarsson called within five seconds and the cards were revealed.

Erik Bystroem: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Alexander Ivarsson: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and {4-Clubs} turn gave Bystroem plenty of outs to avoid the elimination but Ivarsson remained ahead after the {10-Diamonds} river to reduce the field by one.

Hajiyev Rises Further on the Leaderboard

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ramin Hajiyev was already sporting a far bigger stack which then grew even bigger after he chipped up through Julius Kettunen. He had raised from under the gun to 7,500 and Kettunen was the only one to stick around on the button after the {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} turn when Hajiyev bet 16,000.

The {8-Hearts} fell on the river and Hajiyev bet another 36,000, earning an instant call by the Finn. Hajiyev tabled the {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a king-high straight and won the pot, Kettunen flashed his cards to the Azerbaijani before mucking them.

"You missed a big hand, aces versus kings," Hajiyev then mentioned and pointed to his table neighbour Sergej Babincev who was left with fumes.

Loeliger Four Bets All In To Scoop Pot Preflop

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Paulina Loeliger raised to 7,000 and Federico Cirillo responded by reraising to 19,000. Loeliger looked serious as she moved all in. Cirillo said "no" and chucked his hand in the muck.

Loeliger earned a chunk of chips to keep her above the 30 big blind mark.

Heath Picks Up Pot With River Bet

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Manig Loeser raised to 6,000 from middle position and picked up calls from Ben Heath and Maher Nouira in the big blind.

The flop came {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and all three players checked it. The turn was the {4-Diamonds}. Maher Nouira checked, as did Loeser. Heath bet out for 7,500, Nouira folded and Loeser called.

The river was the {2-Diamonds}. Loeser checked and Heath bet 29,000. This was too much for Loeser, who made the fold. Heath picked up a decent pot with the river bet.

Yu Dents Mulders' Stack

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On the tail end of a {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} board, Ryan Yu bet 20,000. Table chip leader Teun Mulders called and mucked when he was shown the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a full house by the American.

It was only a minor setback for the Dutchman, who saw his stack drop under half a million in chips again.

Orpaz Doubles Before Shaking Kenjic Off a Chop

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tom Orpaz open-jammed a stack of 54,000 from the small blind and Jovan Kenjic looked him up in the big blind with a bigger stack.

Tom Orpaz: {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Jovan Kenjic: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Orpaz had run into a strong holding but managed to outflop his opponent as the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} to earn him the double with a pair of jacks.

An orbit or so later, Orpaz relayed to PokerNews that the under-the-gun player opened to 6,500 and Orpaz called from middle position before Kenjic three-bet to 22,000. The initial raiser folded and Orpaz called.

Orpaz checked on the flop of {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Kenjic checked back. Orpaz then moved all in for around 100,000 on the {5-Hearts} turn and Kenjic showed {a-}{q-Spades} before folding to hang onto his remaining 65,000. Orpaz then showed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} to let the opponent know they would have been chopping.

Stephen Song
Stephen Song

The action was picked up on a flop of {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} on which Souhayel Djaballah checked over to Stephen Song, who made it 7,000 to go. Half a minute later, Djaballah check-raised to 21,000 and Song then took a couple of seconds before he announced all-in.

Sliding forward one stack of twenty after the other for it to be counted, Song could pull them back shortly after as Djaballah elected to fold.
