Big River Jam Agonizes Mambour

Nível 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a flop of {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and with about 68,000 chips in the middle, Didier Mambour checked out of the big blind and Federico Cerqua fancied a bet of 28,000. Mambour was not going anywhere yet and made the call.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and Mambour decided to lead out for 35,000. This time it was Cerqua who got sticky by making the call.

The dealer put out the river of {a-Spades} and Mambour bet big with a size of 155,000. Cerqua took a few moments before putting Mambour all-in for 525,000. Mambour visibly did not like this course of action, and after some thinking folded his hand reluctantly.

His neighbor jokingly asked Cerqua to show his hand. He replied with laughter: ''Ten-ten! Poker!'', while stacking the chips that puts him over the million mark.

De Jong Outkicks Natoptanyi

Nível 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Willem de Jong raised to 20,000 from middle position, the small blind called, and Oleksii Natoptanyi also called in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades} and action checked to De Jong, who bet out for 60,000. Natoptanyi was the only caller. The turn was the {2-Clubs}. Natoptanyi check-called another bet of 105,000 from De Jong.

Both players checked to showdown on the {2-} river. Natoptanyi showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for top pair but De Jong showed {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for top pair with a higher kicker. The pot brought De Jong's stack over the one million mark.

Three-Way All-In Goes in the Favor of Vural

Nível 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Marcin Zawadzki open-jammed his remaining 40,000 chips from the hijack. Button Duman Vural decided to go all in over the top for 133,000. Big blind Fabrice Fort covered both players and made the call to create a three-way all-in.

Marcin Zawadzki: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Duman Vural: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Fabrice Fort: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Fort had a chance to score a double knockout, but the board stayed clean for Vural with {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}{j-Clubs}, winning him a big pot, while Fort was left with around 20 big blinds.

De Paz Goes Bananas from the Big Blind

Nível 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Mathieu Rabalison
Mathieu Rabalison

Dario De Paz had amassed a stack of 986,000 after felting an opponent with a set of aces against a set of sevens, however, his monster stack quickly disappeared after a costly mistake.

Mathieu Rabalison opened to 20,000 from early position and was called by Herve Mary from the button.

De Paz then moved all in. Rabilson called as the slightly bigger stack and Mary quickly folded.

Dario De Paz: {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Mathieu Rabalison: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

It was the biggest pot of the tournament so far and De Paz was dominated.

The {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop kept Rabalison ahead but the {5-Clubs} turn gave De Paz a wheel draw. The {9-Spades} completed the board and De Paz was distraught about the outcome.

He looked vacant as he left the table, which had attracted a crowd at this point.

Mary and Rabalison were adamant that De Paz didn't see the Rabalison's open and that's how the chips went into the middle.

Rabalison won a pot north of two million and is the clear chip leader.

"Lucky, Lucky River" for Kaukua

Nível 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sonny Franco opened and Payam Ansarian flat-called before Toni Kaukua three-bet jammed a stack of 95,000. Franco and Ansarian both called.

Franco checked on the flop of {8-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Ansarian bet to get a fold from Franco.

Toni Kaukua: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Payam Ansarian: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Ansarian was in front with tens but the board proceeded to finish out {7-Spades}{k-Clubs} to give Kaukua a king on the river to triple up.

"Lucky, lucky river," reacted Kaukua.
