Nível 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Bryn Kenney raised, Randy Ohel three-bet on the button, and Kenney called.

Arieh Checks Back on the River

Nível 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Action was checked to Josh Arieh on the button with the board reading {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. Arieh bet 11,000, earning a call from James Obst under the gun. Aaron Katz folded from the cutoff.

The turn was the {8-Hearts}, and Obst check-called another 26,000.

With a nice chunk already in the pot, Obst and Arieh saw the {4-Hearts} hit the felt on the river. Obst checked one more time, and Arieh decided to play it safe, checking back.

Obst rolled over his {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a turned set, but that same turn card also improved Arieh to a flush as he had {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for the second nuts.

Michael Mizrachi

Limit Hold'em

Benny Glaser raised under the gun, Michael Mizrachi three-bet, and Glaser called. The flop came {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs}, and Glaser check-called. Glaser checked the {9-Clubs} turn, and Mizrachi bet. Glaser raised. Mizrachi raised it right back.

"Don't outplay me," Mizrachi said. "I'm gonna outplay you."

Glaser just smiled and thought for a while, then called. Both players checked the {7-Diamonds} river.

Glaser rolled over {a-}{q-}, but he'd been three-outed by Mizrachi's {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Madoff Scoops Bonomo

Nível 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

What was initially a three-way pot was reduced to heads-up when button Justin Bonomo bet the turn of a {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} board, earning a call from his right-hand opponent, Harry Madoff. Madoff then led out on the {10-Clubs} river, and Bonomo called.

"Straight to a ten," Madoff announced, turning up his {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Bonomo spent some time analyzing the situation, with his eyes darting between his cards and the board, but he couldn't find anything better.

Sion Punishes Himself with a River Raise

Nível 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Stud

Brett Richey led out on sixth street with his board boasting a pair of fours. Elior Sion called with three to a straight and three diamonds. Richey bet the river, as well, and Sion reacted with a raise. Richey called.

Elior Sion: {8-}{7-}{X-} / {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Brett Richey: {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts} / {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Sion had two pair, eights and sevens, but Richey showed a four and three in the hole, good for a full house.

Obst Scoops Katz

Nível 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

James Obst had three low cards showing and wasn't leading the betting on sixth, as Aaron Katz bet with four high cards showing.

Obst: {x-}{x-}/{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {X-}
Katz: {x-}{x-}/{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} / {X-}

Obst called the bet, and Katz checked the river. Obst bet, and Katz called. Obst, a 2017 bracelet winner, showed {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for a nine-high straight and a low, and Katz flashed {a-}{a-}{3-} for aces up.

Third Spade Comes to Bonomo's Rescue

Nível 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

No-Limit Hold'em

Hijack Justin Bonomo opened to 9,000, and Ralph Perry flatted in the cutoff. Ivo Donev, however, squeezed to 28,000 from the big blind. Action stopped at Bonomo, who called after a while. Perry laid his hand down.

The flop was {6-Spades}{A-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Donev continued for 38,000, and Bonomo took more than a minute to think about his options. Then he announced he was all in, pushing his 175,200 chips toward the middle. Donev called.

Justin Bonomo: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}
Ivo Donev: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The {5-Hearts} turn was a brick, but the {3-Spades} river saved Bonomo in the tournament. More than that, he scored a huge double-up.

Donev stood up from his seat, saying, "You got me?" in frustration. The dealer and players at the table ensured him that he had Bonomo well covered. Donev returned to his seat, still visibly shocked by the nasty river card.

Smith and Tsoukernik Exchange Blows in Limit Hold'em

Nível 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Leon Tsoukernik defended his big blind against a Dan Smith raise, and the flop was {9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Tsoukernik check-called a bet, and the {10-Clubs} fell on the turn. Tsoukernik checked again and this time raised when Smith bet. Smith asked to see what Tsoukernik had back. He then announced a raise to 36,000, and Tsoukernik put his last 45,600 in, with Smith calling to put him at risk.

Tsoukernik: {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Smith: {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Smith needed to improve with his straight draw, but it was a useless two pair he made when the {q-Spades} hit the river. Tsoukernik doubled up with his turned straight.

The next hand, Smith raised again, and Tsoukernik made it three bets. Smith called, and the flop was {2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Tsoukernik check-raised, and Smith called. On the {8-Spades} turn, Tsoukernik checked again, this time giving up his cards when Smith bet.
