Zinno Alive

Don Zewin called the bring-in, and Anthony Zinno completed. Owais Ahmed cold-called, and Zewin came along, also.

Zinno bet fourth street, and both players called. Zinno bet 16,000 on fifth street, leaving himself just 1,000 behind. Ahmed folded, and Zewin called before throwing in a 1,000-denomination chip before sixth street was dealt. Zinno called all in.

Anthony Zinno completed. Owais Ahmed raised, and action folded back to Zinno, who called. On fourth street, Ahmed bet, and Zinno called. On fifth, Zinno grabbed the betting lead and led out. Ahmed made it two bets, and Zinno called. On sixth, Zinno check-called a bet from Ahmed. Zinno check-called again on the river.

Ahmed showed {A-}{9-}{3-} for a nine-low, and that was good enough to take down the pot and leave Zinno with an extremely short stack.

Zhigalov Continues to Grow

Stephen Chidwick completed, and Andrey Zhigalov raised to 16,000. James Obst called, as did Chidwick.

On fifth, Mertivirta led again and was called by both players. On sixth, Merivirta led once more and was called by both players after all three paired.

On seventh, Merivirta led again. This time, only Schulman called after a long tank. Merivirta showed {6-}{4-}{2-} for a seven-low, and that was good to scoop the big pot.

On fifth street Zinno bet again. This time Maslak opted to put in a raise. Zinno made it three bets, and Maslak called. On sixth street, Maslak bet and Zinno called. On seventh, Maslak bet again and Zinno called again.

Zinno showed {A-}{4-}{5-} for a seven low, but it was no good as Maslak had {2-}{4-}{6-} in the hole to make a six low.

Fourth street was checked round, but on fifth street, Forrest moved all in for his last 14,000. Zhigalov announced a raise and both Obst and Merivirta folded.
