After 10 hour-long levels of play, only 38 remain from a total of 97 entries in the 2017 World Series of Poker $10,000 Razz Championship. Frank Kassela (364,500) bagged the chip lead and is looking for his second bracelet of the series and fourth overall after winning Event #13: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw.

Followed behind Kassela are the Zs Don Zewin (303,000), Anthony Zinno (254,000), and Andrey Zhigalov (241,000) who are all looking for their first bracelet.

Some notables who busted included Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth; 2017 Bracelet winners John Monnette, John Racener, David Bach, Jesse Martin, and Ben Zamani; and defending champion Ray Dehkhargani,.

Brandon Shack-Harris and Frank Kassela were tangling on fifth street, with Kassela betting.

"I'm considering whether to exercise restraint," Shack-Harris said with a smile. He decided to call.

"That was restraint?" Kassela laughed.

"That was restraint," Shack-Harris confirmed.

Kassela caught an {8-} and Shack-Harris a {q-}. Shack-Harris called another bet and then bet himself on the end when Kassela checked.

"I guess you get it all," Kassela said as he called.

Shack-Harris showed {8-}{7-}{2-} for an eight-seven, but it was Kassela getting it all with {6-}{a-} in the hole for an eight-six.

Rodawig Doubles Through Kurtzman

Eric Rodawig raised to get his remaining chips in on sixth street against Eric Kurtzman, who had bet fifth street as well.

Kurtzman: {5-}{3-}/{8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}

Rodawig had made a six-five, while Kurtzman had a seven-six. Rodawig already had the pot locked up, but Kurtzman made a useless six-five also with the {a-} on the end.

"Tough to lose with a six-five," he said.
