Racener Out

$10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship winner John Racener got most of his stack in to put an opponent at risk on fifth street and ended up with {8-}{4-}{7-}{6-}{q-}{2-}{5-} for a seven-six, but his opponent made {7-}{a-}{3-}{8-}{9-}{5-}{2-} for a better seven, leaving Racener with 4,500. He was busto in short order.

Clayton Keeps Firing

Gathy Eliminates Wasserson

Michael Gathy completed with a {6-} and Eric Wasserson raised with a {3-}. It folded back to Gathy, and he continued, and they got the rest of Wasserson's chips in on fifth street.

Wasserson: {2-}{4-}/{3-}{10-}{10-}

Gathy paired on sixth with a {3-}, while Wasserson picked up a friendly {6-} to make a ten-six. Gathy, though, found a {9-} on the river, meaning Wasserson would need to improve. He looked down at a {k-} and tossed it onto the felt, finished with the tournament.

Everyone checked fifth street and Chidwick led out again on sixth street which was called by both of his opponents.

On seventh, Chidwick checked, Gorodinsky bet, Clements raised and Chidwick folded. Gorodinsky said "Well I was bluffing" but still made the call. Clements turned over {9-}{5-}{A-} for a nine low and Gorodinsky stared at his cards for a while before he mucked. Gorodinsky then said, "By far the weirdest hand of razz I've played in my entire life".
