McKeehen Bleeds Some

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Joe McKeehen was the only player to call a 3,500 raise from an early position. McKeehen had a discount as he was in the big blinds.

The {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop went check-check, so McKeehen took the betting lead on the {3-Hearts} turn, leading out 4,000. His rival called.

Both players checked the {K-Hearts} river with McKeehen turning over {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for the third pair. However, his opponent revealed {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a rivered top pair.

After that hand, Jamie Kerstetter took the free seat directly to McKeehen's right.

Agarwal Gets Value with Jacks

Nível 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Aditya Agarwal (as seen in a previous event)
Aditya Agarwal (as seen in a previous event)

The blinds have just passed through Aditya Agarwal's seat, and Agarwal was involved in both of the previous hands.

First hand saw Agarwal in the big blind, calling a raise to 3,000 from a player in the hijack. There had already been one limp from a middle position, and the limper wanted to see the flop, too.

The {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop brought a 3,000 cbet and only Agarwal paid before the {2-Clubs} went check-check.

The river card was the {K-Clubs} and Agarwal checked again, letting his opponent fire another 3,500. Agarwal thought for a bit before calling, only to see opponent's {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

The next hand ended up better for Agarwal, who was in the small blind. With the preflop action unknown, it seemed that Agarwal three-bet over a raise from the cutoff as there was already more than 20,000 in the pot when the two players checked 5sKsKc flop.

They checked the {8-Diamonds} turn, too, but Agarwal led out 8,500 on the {2-Diamonds} river. He received a call, so he announced, "jacks", turning over his {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} to take down the juicy pot.

James Woods Cashes

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Actor, legend, poker player James Woods has just moved tables into Miranda after a table break. He sat down with his 38,000 stack, looked up at the table number 618 and told the table, “My first cash was at this table this year, Omaha.”

In fact Woods has cashed the Omaha event, the Colossus and the deuce to seven. “First time I played deuce-seven.” Woods told PokerNews.

That’s three cashes in a week and he is looking for a fourth today,

Double for "ODB"

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

David "ODB" Baker defended his big blind against a raise from the player in the cutoff.

The flop came {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and both players checked.

Baker then checked the {A-Hearts} turn again, but the cutoff fired 4,000, a delayed continuation bet. Baker responded with a check-shove, and it became clear he had 19,300 total.

After a little bit of contemplating, the call button was pushed. Baker turned over {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for flopped two pair while his opponent had spiked a top pair on the turn, showing {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

Baker needed to avoid any eight, nine or ace, and the dealer obliged, rolling over the {J-Diamonds} river.

Poker Princess Felts Foe and Calls Floor

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The flop was {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Kristen Doyle, 'Poker Princess’, bet 4,500 and her opponent called.

The turn card was the {5-Hearts} and there seemed to be a bet of 4,500 again from Doyle but confusion reigned over whether certain chips had been pulled into the pot and if Doyle had been given change.

Amid the attempts of the dealer to count the pot and explain the situation there were a few other players who attempted to help clarify the situation including Nathan Dowland. This wasn’t especially appreciated by Doyle and she called the floor.

The back and forth went on for several long minutes as tempers got a little heated but in the end Doyle’s opponent moved all in for just shy of 7,000 and Doyle called.

Kristen Doyle had : {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and her opponent was on a draw with {k-Spades}{q-Spades}.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Doyle eliminated another opponent.

The bad blood seemed to continue between Doyle and Dowland and Doyle called floor again.

The floor told them to get on with playing poker and that, “If you want someone off the table, take their chips.”

Keating's Ladies Can't Beat Pahuja

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Alex Keating and Vinny Pahuja tangled preflop, and Keating was in good shape to double.

Alex Keating: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Vinny Pahuja: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The board, however, favoured Pahuja as the {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} hit the felt.

Keating had 13,000 and Pahuja had him slightly covered. Keating shipped his chips to his neighbour as Pahuja soared to 29,000.
