Gspoyan Wins Three-Bet Pot

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Samvel Gspoyan opened the action with a raise to 1,700 from the hijack. Sasha Sabbaghian three-bet to 5,600 in the cutoff and Gspoyan called.

Sabbaghian continued for 3,800 on a connected 9J3 flop and Gspoyan made the call.

The turn 7 went check-check before the river 10 hit the felt bringing in more straight draws. Gspoyan put out a bet of 8,100 but Sabbaghian snap-folded and was left as the table short stack.

Santos Raises Stanton on the River

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 723, Griffin Stanton bet 8,000 from under the gun and Marcelo Santos called in middle position.

Both players checked the 2 turn. The river was the 8 and Stanton bet another 6,000.

Santos then raised to 15,000 and Stanton quickly called. Santos turned over AA and Stanton mucked.

Vogdes Shoves On Lytell

Blake Vogdes raised to 1,600 from under the gun and both Shaotong Chang in the hijack and Maxwell Lytell in the big blind called.

The flop rolled out K53 and Lytell checked over to Vogdes, who bet 1,800, which only Lytell called.

On the turn A, Lytell check-called a second bet from Vogdes, this time to the tune of 3,600.

Lytell checked the river 9 and Vogdes moved all in for 31,000 effective, eliciting a quick fold from Lytell.

Shimizu Ges Thin Value

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Nozomu Shimizu and Ludovic Uzan were heads-up on a completed board of 5A6JK with a few thousand already in the middle.

Shimizu checked from the big blind and Uzan bet 1,000 on the button. Shimizu then check-raised to 2,100 and Uzan called after a bit of thought.

Shimizu tabled A2 for top pair and Uzan sent his hand into the muck.

Chang Takes Blind vs. Blind Battle

Action folded around to Gavin Polone in the small blind who bumped things up to 2,000. Chun Chang was in the big blind and three-bet to 7,000. Polone made the call.

Chang continued for 5,000 on 992 and Polone peeled out of position.

The turn K went check-check before Polone took the betting lead firing 5,000 on the 8 river. Chang tossed in a chip for a call and Polone said "you're good", prompting Chang to table JJ for the winner.

Ash's Stack Dusted Off by Khanghah

Michael Ash only had 20,000 chips to start the day and shoved from the hijack, and Behzad Ahadpour Khanghah made the call from the small blind.

Khanghah flopped a flush draw and hit it by the time the river was dealt on the 738J9 runout, which eliminated Ash during the early stages of Day 2d.

There was no upset on the 1010597 runout as they chopped it up.

One table over, Brian Wood took on the WSOP bracelet winners Nick Guagenti and Jonathan Dimmig. He bet the J52K turn for 3,500 and both folded.
