Kohl Gets Boat Value

Action was joined on the turn with a board reading 3A45. From the hijack, Blaise Bourgeois bet 9,500 over to James Kohl in the small blind who called.

The river paired the board with the 5. Kohl led out for 22,500. Bourgeois took about 45 seconds before he called.

Kohl tabled the AA for aces full to take the pot as Bourgeois mucked and nodded his head with a bit of a wry smile.

Rubens Gets Big Slick

Action was picked up on the flop with roughly 26,000 in the pot and the board showing A63.

Michael Rubens checked from early position to Matthew Kiefer, who bet out 6,500. Rubens made the call to see the turn.

Both players checked to showdown after the 6 turn and 5 river.

Rubens then tabled AK for top pair, top kicker to take the pot.

Hindry Spikes Nut Flush on River

Joe Hindry raised under the gun to 1,600 and received a call from a player in early position and Larry Quang, who was in the small blind.

The dealer fanned Q38 on the board, resulting in Quang and Hindry checking. The other player in early position bet 3,700, which saw Quang and Hindry call.

The J showed up on the turn, and Quang led out for 5,200. Hindry and the third player in the hand called.

The 4 appeared on the river. Quang checked, opening the door for Hindry to announce a bet of 13,500. The other player in early position called, while Quang folded.

Hindry showed A5 for the ace-high flush, and his opponent mucked his cards.

Kelly Flops Top Set, Stacks Spaugh

A player in early position opened up the action with a raise to 1,800. Tyler Spaugh moved all in for 19,500 in the hijack and Mark Kelly called from the small blind. The original raiser got out of the way and Spaugh found a good spot to double.

The board ran out 732J9 and Parker was eliminated while Mich more than doubled.

Pito Shoves After Clock is Called

Louis Pito three-bet to 6,100 on the button before an opponent in early position four-bet to 16,800. Pito called and they saw a flop of 48J.

The early-position player then bet 13,000 as Pito went deep into the tank, staring across the table at his opponent for several minutes. "Can I help you? I see you staring at me," his opponent said to him.

Another player at the table eventually called the clock and the countdown had barely begun before Pito moved all in. His opponent, with around 30,000 remaining, snap-folded.

Safaya Beats Cleaver

Action was picked up with cards on their backs with Barry Cleaver all in and at risk for his final 39,000 against Christopher Safaya.

Arun Sriram opened the action with a raise to 2,000 from early position. Maxence Carbonneaux three-bet to 7,000 from the small blind and Sriram called.

Carbonneaux checked the 8K2 flop over to Sriram who bet 5,000. Carbonneaux called.

The turn Q rolled off and action went check-check.

The river 4 came down and Carbonneaux sized-up big to 33,000. Sriram gave it a thought, paid it off, and saw he was chopping with his opponent. Carbonneaux had AK and Sriram had AK.

Mamut Calls it Off

Action was on the river with the board reading J5Q9J. Nikolai Mamut bet 16,600 into a pot of roughly the same amount from the button. John Adderley was in the big blind and jammed all in to put Mamut to the test for his whole stack.

Mamut took several moments before he called.

Adderley tabled the J9 boat. Mamut got up and tossed over his beaten 108 and hastily left the ballroom.
