Nahum Mucks the Best Hand

Nível 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Kfir Nahum
Kfir Nahum

Kfir Nahum had opened the button and Alexander Farahi three-bet to 175,000. Nahum called.

The action was checked all the way to showdown on the J10828 runout and Farahi tabled AQ for ace-high. Nahum mucked.

After the hand, the two players were talking on Nahum mentioned that he had a pair in his hand, to which Farahi responded that he only had ace-high.

"I thought you had a straight" said Nahum.

"Are you joking?" replied Farahi.

Nahum was visibily angry at himself but regardless, the chips belonged to Farahi who now holds a two-to-one chip advantage over his opponent.

Nível 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Jeremy Ausmus had a significant lead over Andy Miller. Miller has been steadily playing his game and when he finally did get short enough to move all in for his final 210,000, Ausmus made the call.

Andy Miller: 34 All in
Jeremy Ausmus: K6

It was quite the dramatic flop that fell, J34, giving two pair to Miller and a flush draw for Ausmus.

The turn brought the 5 giving Ausmus a straight draw to go with his flush draw but the Q awarded the pot to Miller.

That didn't last long though as Miller was seen exiting the tournament shortly after and Ausmus advanced.
