Germany's, Tobias Schwecht, went straight from cashing Event #21: $25,000 to hopping into Event #23: $1,500 shoot out. Preflop battle has been tense as Robert Natividad, representing the Philippines has refused to be run down.

Natividad's has one cashed one bracelet event at the 2024 World Series of Poker and it was in the $400 No Limit PKO on WSOP Online.

Aaron Pinson and Noel Eicher continue to battle with nearly even stacks. Pinson chirped up to PokerNews that, "It's got to come to a head eventually! Maybe we'll make it 50,000/100,000...."

On the all-heart 925 flop, Eicher check-called a bet of 50,000 from Pinson.

The 10 turn was checked through to the 2 river. Eicher led out for 120,000, and Pinson folded.

Natividad Holds Slender Chip Lead Over Schwecht

Robert Natividad limped in from the small blind and Tobias Schwecht checked his option.

Both players checked the 61010 flop to see the 9 hit the turn. Schwecht led for 75,000, and Natividad called.

On the K river, the action was checked through once again. Natividad announced that he had a nine and tabled Q9 which was good for the pot.

Eicher Wants to Make a Hero Call

Aaron Pinson limped in from the small blind and Noel Eicher raised to 110,000. Pinson called.

Both checked the 454 flop to see an 8 fall on the turn. Eicher checked, Pinson bet 100,000, and Eicher called.

On the 5 river. Eicher checked, and Pinson shoved all in for 600,000. After some time thinking, Eicher folded.

"I wanted to call but it would have been a serious hero call" remarked Eicher.

Richard Dixon Advances to Day 3

Dixon was thrilled to see the news and a dejected Dwan let his rail know he needed a four or diamonds.

The flop rolled A67 and the turn gave Dwan a speck more hope when the 3 came but his dream of winning Event #23: $1,500 Shootout was squashed when the Q fell, awarding Dixon the win.

Nahum was a gentleman and shook his opponents hand, congratulating him but couldn't help but say, "[All that] and it ends in two pair over two pair...."
