When PokerNews arrived at the table, the board was showing J♥4♦8♣. The small blind and a middle position player had checked to Paz-Gutierrez on the button. He put out a bet, and the small blind check-raised. The middle position player folded, but Paz-Gutierrez made the call.
The 9♥ came on the turn. The small blind bet and Paz-Gutierrez called.
When the river came, the Q♠ the small blind bet again, and Paz-Gutierrez raised. The small blind player made the call, and Paz-Gutierrez turned over A♥10♥5♥J♦ for a straight.
