Early Straight Flush for Yezzo

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Nick Yezzo raised to 500 on the button and was called by both blinds.

Yezzo continued for 700 on the well-connected 9J10 flop and was raised to 2,000 by the player in the big blind, with the player in the small blind getting out of the way and Yezzo making the call.

The board became even more interesting on the Q turn, prompting both players to check.

The player in the big blind check-folded to a river bet of 3,000 from Yezzo on the K river and Yezzo tabled the K10 to show the straight flush.

Welcome to Day 1a of Event #81: $600 Ultra Stack No-Limit Hold'em

2023 WSOP Gold Bracelet
2023 WSOP Gold Bracelet

New for this year, 2023 World Series of Poker Event #81: $600 Ultra Stack No-Limit Hold’em will kick off today, June 11th at 10 a.m. local time at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas and is sure to be one of the summer saver events heading down the stretch, as players are able to reenter up to two times across both Day 1 flights. Players surviving today will advance to Day 2 on Thursday, July 13th to find themselves one step closer to the coveted WSOP bracelet.

Just like the temperature in Las Vegas, the player of the year race is heating up, meaning we could see the likes of such players as Shaun Deeb, who currently sits third on the list, and Chad Eveslage and Jeremy Ausmus, both in the top ten, in the field with the hopes of deep runs in order to increase their positions in the race.

Other notable players who may grace the field after their main event ambitions have been tragically cut short include the likes of three-time bracelet winner Kristen Foxen, two-time bracelet winner and former WSOP Player of the Year, Erick Lindgren and Star Craft Pro and popular streamer, Yohwan Lim

Blinds will start at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante and late registration closes after Level 12 (approx. 5 p.m.).

As always, keep it here as PokerNews brings you live coverage of this bracelet event.
