Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action caught up with Robert Haller calling a river bet of 5,800 from the small blind against a player in middle position on a board reading Q♣6♥8♥4♣3♣.

Thiele Underdog in Unlikely Double Elimination

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

In a hand relayed to PokerNews by Joe Thiele and a few others at the table, Thiele raised to 2,000 from middle position and was three-bet by a player on the button, with the player in the small blind moving all-in and both Thiele and the player on the button making the call.

Button: K♦Q♦
Small Blind: A♠K♠
Joe Thiele: Q♠2♣

Thiele went in with the worst of it but was able to spike a deuce on the J♥2♦9♣ flop.

However, Thiele was not out of the woods yet, as any card ten or higher would be bad news.

But the turn 4♥ kept Thiele in the lead and the 2♥ on the river secured the double elimination.

Jean-Jacques Doubles on Unorthodox First Hand

Nível 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action caught up to an all-in hand between France's Christophe Jean-Jacques in late position and a player in middle position.

Jean-Jacques had moved all-in on the 6♥9♠3♥ flop and before the player in middle position could make the call, the dealer burned and turned the 10♠ early, resulting in a floor call.

The floor instructed the dealer to shuffle the 10♠ back into the deck if the middle position player made the call, which is what happened, and the cards were on their backs.

Christophe Jean-Jacques: Q♥Q♦
Middle Position Player: J♥J♣

Jean-Jacques was in great shape to score the double and was able to hold on a final board of 6♥9♠3♥2♦2♥.

Peacock Chips Up With Elimination

Nível 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Art Peacock
Art Peacock

The cards were on their backs in an all-in hand between Art Peacock in late position and a player in early position for 39,000 chips on a board reading 7♥2♥9♦.

Early Position: A♥Q♥
Art Peacock: J♥J♦

The early position player flopped a flush draw with two overcards to the board, but Peacock's pair was still best.

Peacock would need to fade quite a few cards in order to secure the elimination and fortunately, the runout would be clean in the form of the 8♠ turn and the 6♣ river.
