Kornuth Chips Up; Schindler Takes No Chances

Following a flop of A♥K♣10♣, Vidur Sethi checked and then called a bet worth 40,000 by by Chance Kornuth. The 4♦ turn was checked and Sethi also checked the J♠ river. Kornuth bet 85,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

Jake Schindler then arrived at the table and Kornuth opened to 40,000 for Sethi to call on the button. Schindler raised the pot to 176,000 in the small blind and forced two folds.

On a completed board of 4♦3♣9♣5♥K♣, Sam Soverel led out for 90,000 into the massive pot of 600,000 and the action was then on Ben Lamb who was in the tank.

After a good while, Lamb made the call and was shown Q♠6♠8♥5♦ for just a pair of fives while Lamb quickly flipped over A♦A♥6♥7♣ for a straight to take down the pot.

Myrmo Takes From Kashat

Firas Kashat raised out of the small blind and then called a pot-sized three-bet to 99,000 by Espen Myrmo. The 8♦5♦3♥ flop was checked and the 8♣ followed on the turn. Kashat bet 60,000 and Myrmo called.

After the J♥ river, both players checked and Kashat asked "do you have kings?" Myrmo had one notch higher with the A♣A♠Q♣7♥ and won the pot.

Sethi Hits That Other Draw

Action folded to Chance Kornuth on the button who opened the action to 30,000. Vidur Sethi called out of the small blind and Eelis Parssinen called out of the big blind.

The 9♦7♥2♥ flop landed and Sethi checked. Parssinen bet pot for 102,000. Chance got out of the way and Sethi hit the pot button again to put Parssinen all-in. He called and they were off to a turn and river heads-up.

Sethi was on the nut flush draw and Parssinen was hoping for a board pair with his set of sevens.

The K♠ turn was a relative blank but gave Sethi a gutter to the nut straight. That straight would come in on the 10♠ river. Sethi hit the backdoor draw he needed and Parssinen hit the rail before the money.

Sam Soverel was moved tables and wasted little time to run up his stack again. In the latest hand, he checked from the cutoff on the Q♦J♣5♥ flop and Ben Lamb bet 68,000 on the button for Soverel to call. They checked the 8♣ on the turn and the 9♣ river brought a possible straight and flush.

Soverel bet the pot for 280,000 and Lamb folded.

On a three-way turn of 10♠2♣7♠10♣, action checked to Brandon Adams who bet 225,000 into the already bloated pot and Daniel Zack made the call while the other player got out of the way.

The river came the 9♠ and Zack checked once more to Adams, who thought for a few moments before he decided to check back as well.

Zack then tabled Q♣10♥9♣6♠ for the nut full house and Adams quickly mucked to award him the pot.

Teska Wins Three-Way Pot Against Anderson

In a hand that had started at the end of the previous level, there were 30,000 in preflop but no action on the A♥6♥4♥ flop and J♣ turn. Bradley Anderson bet the 10♣ river for 70,000 out of the big blind and Roger Teska called while Henry Hull folded.

Anderson showed the A♣9♣6♠2♠ for aces and sixes but Teska had that beat with the K♠Q♠10♦5♦ for broadway.

"You couldn't have over-limped so I can flop a flush?" Robert Cowen inquired with a sigh.
