Cary Katz was down to around 18 big blinds and shipped all in for 1,080,000 in the hijack. Jonathan Jaffe was in the cutoff and asked for a count before making the call. The rest of the table folded and the cards were on their backs.
Cary Katz: 9♣9♦
Jonathan Jaffe: A♠K♣
The flop came Q♥Q♣7♦ and Katz was still out front with his pair of nines. However, the A♣ on the turn got Katz out of his seat as he was down to just two outs. The river was the 8♣ and that spelled the end for Katz in the Super High Roller.

Action folded around to Phil Ivey on the button, who open-shoved his remaining 1,315,000 chips into the middle. Brian Kim reshoved all in from the small blind with the larger stack, forcing a fold from the big blind and taking on Ivey heads up.
Phil Ivey: K♦10♦
Brian Kim: A♦J♦
A flush would be no good for Ivey, as Kim had the higher diamonds, but it wouldn't matter as the dealer turned Ivey's gin card in the form of the K♥ on an eventually completed board of 6♠9♥5♦K♥8♥, giving Ivey the full double-up.

Jonathan Jaffe opened to 130,000 in early position and James Chen three-bet to 425,000 in the cutoff. Jaffe called and they went heads-up to a flop of 7♣7♦2♠.
Jaffe checked to Chen who continued with a bet of 285,000. Jaffe check-raised to 725,000 but Chen still called. The turn was the 5♦ and both players checked to the K♥ on the river. Two more checks and Jaffe tabled Q♠J♣ for air while Chen had Q♥Q♦ to scoop the pot.

Chance Kornuth opened to 100,000 in the cutoff and Phil Hellmuth called on the button before Martin Kabrhel also called out of the big blind.
"If he's in, I'm in," Kabrhel said after Hellmuth called.
Kabrhel checked on the flop of 9♠K♠K♦ and Kornuth continued for 85,000. Only Hellmuth called. Kornuth then checked on the 5♣ turn and Hellmuth checked back.
Kornuth bet 385,000 on the 7♦ river and Hellmuth quickly called as Kornuth turned over Q♦9♣ for a pair of nines.
"This f***ing guy," Hellmuth muttered as he held up what he said was ace-high. "F***!"
Hellmuth had to stand up and step away from the table and was still ranting several minutes later as Kornuth finally broke composure and burst into laughter.
"I kept it together as long as I could," said Kornuth.

Martin Kabrhel raised to 125,000 from early position and was three-bet by Phil Hellmuth to 300,000 from the big blind.
"That's a reasonable price," Kabrhel mentioned before putting in the calling chips.
Hellmuth checked the K♠3♠Q♥ flop over to Kabrhel, who put in a hefty bet of 425,000. As Hellmuth began deliberating whether to call, or not, Kabrhel joked with the dealer to push him the pot because he's certain Hellmuth is folding.
"Shut the f*** up," quipped Hellmuth before making the fold.
Elsewhere around the room, Seth Davies was Eliminated by Brian Kim after Kim made a straight.

Isaac Haxton just spun up a short stack to over 3,000,000 chips, but in a matter of one hand, they were all gone again. On a board of A♣Q♥10♦4♦, Haxton was heads-up with Alfred Decarolis and they quickly got all of their chips in the middle on the turn.
Haxton turned over A♦Q♦ for two pair and a flush draw while Decarolis showed K♦J♦ for a straight and a lesser flush draw. The river was the 2♠ and Decarolis held on to eliminate Haxton in a massive cooler.
After the hand, Phil Ivey just sat with a smile on his face as he and Decarolis shared a laugh.
"How did you do that?" Koray Aldemir questioned as well.

Stephen Chidwick raised to 105,000 in the cutoff and Jonathan Jaffe defended from the big blind. The flop came 10♠3♣2♦ and Jaffe check-called a bet of 70,000 from Chidwick.
The turn was the 4♣ and Jaffe led out with a bet of 100,000. Chidwick called and the K♥ landed on the river. Jaffe fired out another bet of 225,000 and Chidwick raised to 650,000. Jaffe responded by shoving all in and Chidwick dipped into the tank for over a minute before releasing his cards.

Phil Hellmuth moved all-in for 1,140,000 on the turn from early position against Dan Smith in the big blind on a board reading K♣7♥A♠6♠.
Smith would use one of his time banks before making the fold.
"I played it wimpy," said Hellmuth. "I should've gotten 300,000, but I'm not going to let you get there with king-jack of spades."
"You'd have to pry king-jack of spades from my cold dead hands," replied Smith. "I just had a king."
