Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 275,000 from the small blind and Axel Hallay called on the button as they went heads-up to the 2♥9♣Q♦ flop.
Negreanu bet 200,000 and Hallay once again called to see the 8♣ turn. Negreanu slowed down and checked, then called when Hallay bet 175,000.
The river came the K♥ and Negreanu checked again. Hallay, his hand resting on his face and his silk scarf partially covering his mouth, then announced he was all in.
Negreanu, with around 900,000 remaining, picked up his cards and took one last peek at them before throwing them in the muck.
"Not the river I was hoping for. Or maybe it saved me," Negreanu said following the hand.

Daniel Negreanu raised 75,000 from first position and Bill Klein called from the button. They each checked the 8♣Q♠9♦ flop.
Negreanu led out on the 7♣ turn, with Klein coming along.
After the A♠ hit the river, Negreanu checked and Klein separated 150,000 from his stack.
"Just the worst river." Negreanu said. "We've got the milk man over here!" He repeated the joke several times before folding.

Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Sean Winter defended his big blind.
Both players checked to the turn on a board of 6♣4♥9♣10♣ when Winter led out for 80,000. Lichtenberger called to see the J♠ river.
Winter now checked and Lichtenberger bet out 180,000. Winter called as Lichtenberger turned over J♦10♦ for two pair to win the pot.
Ethan Yau was eliminated on this table a few hands earlier.

Daniel Negreanu's camera was up and running as he was all in for his last 600,000 from the big blind against Joey Weissman under the gun.
Daniel Negreanu: A♦10♠
Joey Weissman: Q♣Q♥
"I'm running good at all ins, so maybe I'll hit an ace," Negreanu said as the flop came J♠9♣8♦.
"Queen or a seven," Negreanu said heading to the 8♥ turn. "Okay, no more queen," he added.
The 2♠ river kept Weissman in the lead and sent Negreanu to the rail in 22nd place.

Bill Klein three-bet to 220,000 on the button and Joey Weissman called in the cutoff.
The flop came 6♦6♠8♣ and Klein bet 115,000. Weissman again called and both players checked the 4♦ turn.
The river was the 5♣ and Weissman once more checked over to Klein, who stuck in 400,000. Weissman used three time banks before he called and Klein turned over A♣J♣ for ace-high.
Weissman showed A♦K♥ and his king-kicker was enough for him to earn the big pot.
