More than 60 of the biggest names in poker will take the stage when Event #2: $25,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em Day 2 begins at 12 p.m. local time inside the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
Daniel Rezaei will be seeking his first WSOP final table, as he bagged 1,368,000 on Day 1, knocking out Shannon Shorr and making several key hero calls for large pots. Justin Liberto (1,147,000), Brek Schutten (1,050,000), Sean Winter (1,047,000), and Brock Wilson (1,009,000) round out the list of Day 1 million-chip earners.

Late registration will close with the announcement of “Shuffle up and deal,” which will surely add to the 58 players who remained after Day 1 and the over $4,000,000 prize pool. Play will commence with Level 9 at 5,000/10,000/10,000 blinds. Ten levels will be played on Day 2 with a dinner break after Level 14, expected to be around 6:30 p.m. local time.
Stay tuned as the World Series of Poker kicks off what should be a rousing and historic Day 2. Coverage begins today at noon local time and PokerNews will be following along and providing live updates and chip counts throughout the day.
The start of Day 2 is currently in a short delay as players begin taking their seats and new arrivals come in.
Play will begin at 12:45 pm local time.

The players are now in the seats, with 20 new entries joining the 58 surviving players from Day 1.
Heads-up on a board of 7♠5♥J♥5♦, Phil Hellmuth bet 15,000 and John Hennigan called from the small blind.
The river came the 2♣ and Hennigan checked over to Hellmuth, who fired out another 18,000. Hennigan now came back with a raise to 52,000 and Hellmuth, after confirming the amount, quickly called.
Hennigan turned over A♦J♣ for two pair and Hellmuth flashed 9♣9♠ before mucking.
"Nice hand, buddy," Hellmuth told Hennigan. "It could've been worse. You could've moved in. I would've snapped."

Action folded to Keith Lehr in the small blind who raised enough to put Shaun Deeb all in. "Don't be stupid. You've got a lot of chips," Lehr told Deeb, who eventually called for his last 260,000.
Shaun Deeb: K♣10♦
Keith Lehr: A♣10♠
Deeb found himself dominated and at risk as the 10♣6♦8♠ flop gave both players to pair. The board ran out 8♣6♠ and Lehr's ace-kicker played to send Deeb to the rail early on Day 2.
