Winter Turns a Flush For a Bustout

Nível 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Sean Winter under the gun and an opponent in the big blind built a pot of around 120,000 heading to the river on a board of KJ852. Winter moved all in and his opponent called for their last 85,000.

Winter turned over A8 for a flush as the all-in player mucked his cards and headed for the exit.

"I turned around and next thing I knew you were all in. Did he do the betting or did you," tablemate Isaac Haxton asked.

"We both did a lot of betting," Winter replied.

Lin Gets Away as Lichtenberger Decimates Boivin

Nível 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

Ren Lin put in a reraise to 20,000 from the button as action folded to big blind Thomas Boivin, who shoved all in for 102,000. Andrew Lichtenberger, under the gun, then reshoved for 96,000.

"Ay, ay, ay," Lin said as he went into the tank. "Ace-king, ace-king," he asked before eventually folding what he said were pocket nines.

Andrew Lichtenberger: QQ
Thomas Boivin: AK

Boivin and Lichtenberger found themselves in a classic race situation, one in which Lichtenberger would come out in front as the board came J2772 to earn him the double up and leave Boivin on an extreme short stack.

Spencer Sticks In Massive River Shove

Nível 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of AA37, Lewis Spencer bet 36,000 from the button and Mitchell Halverson called in the big blind.

The river came the 9 and Halverson checked to Spencer again, and this time he moved all in. Halverson, with around 185,000 remaining, gave it some thought before mucking his hand.

Jason Koon and Erik Seidel also share this table.

Jaffe Deals Mortal Wound to Elias, Cheong Finishes Him Off

Nível 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Darren Elias

After the previous hand, when Jonathan Jaffe's trip kings knocked Darren Elias' stack down to 10,000, Elias moved all in from the cutoff.

Stephen Song called from the button, and Joseph Cheong followed suit from the big blind.

Both remaining players checked the AK10 flop as well as the 2 turn. When the K hit the river, Cheong led out for 15,000 and Song called. When Cheong flipped over the K8, both Song and Elias mucked, and Elias' first bullet was spent.

Lehr Finally Wins a Race

Nível 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

An under-the-gun player was all in for 104,000 and up against Keith Lehr in the cutoff.

Under-the-gun: AQ
Keith Lehr: 99

The two players were off to the races as the board came K78710, keeping Lehr's nines in front and ending his opponent to the rail.

"First race I've won in a long f**king time," Lehr said as he took in the pot.

"Wins the pot and is complaining," someone said from the rail.

"I said I hadn't won a race in a long time. How is that complaining? I'm ecstatic," Lehr replied.

Linglin Zeng three-bet to 30,000 from the small blind and Kitty Kuo came along on the button as they went heads-up to a Q3A flop.

Zeng slowed down and checked as Kuo bet 40,000. Zeng called to see the 6 turn and checked over to Kuo again, who this time moved all in for 134,000.

Zeng used up several time bank chips before she called with KQ for a pair of queens. Kuo turned over AJ for top pair and stayed in front on the J river to earn the double up.

Ace-High Good for Theuma

Nível 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

In a three-way pot, Joe McKeehen bet 18,000 on a flop of 6Q9 and only big blind Corel Theuma called. Both players checked the 6 turn.

The river came the 3 and Theuma led out for 50,000. McKeehen used up a time bank card before tossing in two green 25,000 chips to call.

"Ace-high," Theuma said, turning over AJ and preparing to hand over the pot.

"That was a bad f**king call," McKeehen said as he mucked. McKeehen was left with around 35,000 and busted shortly after.
