Austria's Daniel Rezaei will be the front runner on Day 3 after he bagged over one million chips when play came to a premature end.
45 players will return to compete at Noon on Sunday, 17 July, with the likes of Pavel Plesuv, Romain Lewis, Pierre Calamusa, Martin Zamani and Adrian Mateos expected to be hot the heels of Rezaei when the official chip counts are provided.
Throughout the day, the likes of Michael Gathy, Jason Koon, Phil Ivey, Joe Cada, Chance Kornuth, Joao Vieira, Erik Seidel, and Paul Volpe all hit the rail, with many more notable names also unable to progress to Day 3.

According to the official WSOP Twitter, players in the event will bag their chips and return to play at Bally's at Noon on Sunday, 17 July.

There has been a moment of panic in the Paris Ballroom after rumors of an active shooter situation on the Las Vegas Strip began to circulate.
Players and staff ran for cover out of the ballroom with tables flipped over and chips scattered across the room.
As far as PokerNews is aware there is no active shooter, and there has been panic in neighboring casinos which has moved into Paris.
