Kathy Liebert
Kathy Liebert

Action started when Galen Hall opened to 8,000 from the hijack. It folded to the small blind who moved all in for 30,000 and without much thought, Kathy Liebert moved all in over the top for roughly 40,000 from the big blind. Hall got out of the way and the cards were on their backs.

Small Blind: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Kathy Liebert: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

On the flop of {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, the eights of the small blind were still ahead. The {6-Diamonds} hit the turn and the small blind looked good for a double up, however when the {k-Hearts} peeled off on the river Liebert hit her king and scored the knockout.
