Only 207 players have survived from a field of 3,936 on Day 1b of Event #68: $1,000 Million Dollar Bounty at the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas. After 22 levels of play, Armando Figueroa finished as the chip leader with 3,150,000 while WSOP Main Event defending champion Koray Aldemir has also qualified for Day 2 with 1,180,000, which means Aldemir will to wait to make his entrance in this year's Main Event.
Other big stacks including Freddy Granados (2,405,000), Fabian Foster (2,130,000) and Wojtek Barzantny (1,950,000) will return on Day 2, which commences at 1 p.m. local time on July 5th.

Day 1b generated 3,936 registrations, each hoping to progress to Day 2 and have the chance to draw one of the mystery bounties, one of which is guaranteed to be a staggering $1 million. Today was a disappointing day for players who busted like Pierre Calamusa, Chino Rheem and Alejandro Lococo. The latter had a lot of chips at one stage but ultimately busted before the day's end.
All the players eliminated today could try their luck again on Day 1c or 1d which kicks off on Monday, July 4.
Another Day 1 money bubble burst in this event and 535 players won at least $1,062. Some of the players who cashed but failed to make it into Day 2 included Rafael Lebron, Barry and Allyn Shulman, Dan Heimiller, Noah Schwartz, Roland Israelashvili, Scott Bohlman and Ismael Bojang. .
Day 1c of the Million Dollar Bounty will kick off on Monday, July 4 at 12 p.m. local time and will follow the same structure as Day 1a and 1b with 22 levels lasting 30 minutes and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 12. Day 1d will start at 7:00 p.m, and it will be a turbo flight with only 15-minute levels.
