Blickenstaff Chipping Up on Day 2

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

After an early position opening bet, David Blickenstaff three-bet to 15,000 from the cutoff. The small blind four-bet to 39,500 and the early-position player got out of the way. Blickenstaff called.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and after the small blind checked, Blickenstaff shoved his 127,000 into the middle.

The small blind stretched and winced in agony, deliberating for about a minute before eventually folding.

Blickenstaff started the day with 109,000 and has nearly doubled his starting stack in one level.

She has taken some time off this year and been able to play instead of deal and is putting her knowledge to good work here as an early chip leader.

Webber and Herstein Enjoy Hilarious Chop After Long Standoff

Meseguer Doubles Up with Jacks

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With 8,000 in the middle on a {5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} board, Antoine Meseguer bet from the button and was raised to 15,000 from the big blind. Meseguer shoved for 69,000 total and was eventually called.

Antoine Meseguer: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Big Blind: {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Meseguer had flopped middle set but his opponent opted to gamble and go after his flush draw and backdoor straight draw.

The {j-Clubs} left the big blind hoping for a diamond but the {3-Spades} provided no help and Meseguer received the full double up.
