Two Pair No Good for Gonzales

Nível 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Michael Mizrachi raised to 5,000 and got calls from Matthew Gonzales and Jesse McGinty.

McGinty checked the {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop out of the small blind and Mizrachi bet 10,000. Gonzales kissed the chips before flicking them in and McGinty also called.

"I need that card," Gonzales said before at the same time as the {9-Spades} was dealt. It checked to Gonzales who bet 12,000 and got two calls.

"I need that card," said Gonzales again. The river checked around. "Two pair," said Gonzales.

"Set of eights," said Mizrachi, tabling {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs} for the winner.

Ramos Eliminated by Negreanu

Nível 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Felipe Ramos

Seven Card Stud

Felipe Ramos: {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} / {4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {5-Hearts}
Daniel Negreanu: {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} / {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} / {4-Diamonds}

Felipe Ramos was left with a short stack and ultimately got his chips in after sixth street for the rest of it when Daniel Negreanu bet. Once the cards were revealed with Negreanu showing kings up, Ramos replied "you have me crushed, I only have an open-ender".

Ramos could also hit a seven on top of his straight outs but only made inferior two pair to hit the rail.

"Not your day today, you didn't fuckin win any hand," Negreanu said emphatically while raking in the pot and enjoying a massage.

Prociak Among the Shortest Stacks

Nível 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Prior to the break, David Prociak had chopped with Chad Eveslage and since the action had restarted, his stack had been damaged heavily. The latest hand saw Chris Brewer with an open-raise to 8,500 and Prociak called from one seat over.

On the {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, Brewer bet the pot and Prociak folded swiftly.

Gorodinsky Pays Off Zinno

Nível 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

A full board of {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} was out between Mike Gorodinsky and Anthony Zinno. The former PPC champion checked it over to Zinno who bet 50,000 into a pot of around 85,000.

Gorodinsky called, but mucked when Zinno tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for two pair.

Deeb Scoops Three-Way Pot to Boost Stack

Nível 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Peter Gelencser: {x-}{x-} / {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Spades} / {x-}
David Benyamine: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} / {x-}
Shaun Deeb: {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} / {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades} / {4-Clubs}

David Benyamine had paired an eight on fourth and opted to check as of fifth street to then call bets by Shaun Deeb on the remaining streets. The same applied for Peter Gelencser with Benyamine and the Hungarian showing potential flush draws and broadway combos on their open boards.

Deeb tabled the {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a flush to the queen and that scooped the entire pot.

Zack Loses Small Pot to Couden

Nível 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

While there had been preflop action and betting on the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop, the {3-Hearts} turn and the {10-Clubs} river slowed down Dan Zack and Joey Couden. Both opted to check the last two streets and Zack turned over the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for aces and jacks.

That was no good as Couden's {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} had rivered a straight to win the pot for the shorter stack involved.
