Small Pot for Gorodinsky

Nível 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Daniel Negreanu and Mike Gorodinsky, the former bet the {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} river for 11,000. Gorodinsky mulled it over for a short while and called for Negreanu to announce a five.

Gorodinsky had that crushed with the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for kings and fives to pull back some chips but remains the shortest stack at the table.

Anthony Zinno has also lost some chips on the same table as well and recalled an all-in showdown with a pat nine-eight in No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw that had come up second best to a pat nine-seven of Ismael Bojang. The latter has since lost a portion of his stack also while Jared Bleznick and Freddy Deeb moved up.

Shak Doesn't Call Versus Ivey

Nível 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Phil Ivey raised to 7,500 on the button and was called by Dan Shak in the big blind only. Both players discarded one and Shak opted to check. Ivey now bet 15,000 and Shak exposed the {8-}{4-}{3-}{2-} before also revealing that he had paired his trey. Ivey briefly showed his cards and raked in the pot as he closes in on half a million in chips.

2-7 Triple Draw

Chino Rheem and Jeremy Ausmus both drew two on the first draw as Scott Seiver drew one. It checked to Seiver who bet and got two callers.

The draws repeated and again it checked to Seiver who bet. Rheem folded but Ausmus stuck around for the final draw.

Both players drew one and checked. Ausmus announced "Ace," but Seiver showed {q-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{3-} and won the hand.

Dramatic Exit for Diebold

Ben Diebold
Ben Diebold

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

There was some drama brewing over on table 112 in the last hand before the break as players on their way out stopped to witness the all-in showdown of Ben Diebold. He had been left with fumes from previous hands and apparently had a number three draw.

According to Philip Sternheimer, Scott Bohlman discarded four cards twice and then hit a two-spotter to eliminate Diebold amid some audible gasps from all around the table.

Three Quick PLO Hands in a Row

Nível 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Matthew Ashton raised to 7,000 from under the gun and Brian Rast three-bet to 20,000 from one seat over to force a fold.

Todd Ivens then opened to 7,000 on the button and Ashton defended the big blind. The {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop was checked to Ivens, who bet 8,000 and took down the pot.

Ivens raised to 7,000 again the next hand and Rast came along in the big blind. The flop fell {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Rast check-raised from 8,000 to 28,000 in order to force out Ivens.
