Rast Finds a Double

Nível 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Brian Rast
Brian Rast

Brian Rast was down to his last few bets and raised from the cutoff before Nick Pupillo three-bet from the big blind to put Rast all-in. Rast called.

Brian Rast: {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Nick Pupillo: {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for Rast to win the hand with a straight and to keep himself from being eliminated on the money bubble.

Couden Closing In on Seven Figures

Nível 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

In a three-bet pot, Joey Couden and Matthew Schreiber were heads-up on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Couden check-called a bet from Schreiber and the {q-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Couden checked again and Schreiber continued with another bet. Couden check-raised this time and Schreiber called. The {a-Clubs} hit the river and Couden led out. Schreiber thought for a brief moment but decided to lay his hand down.

Lieberman Eliminated by Woodward

Nível 14 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
David Leiberman
David Leiberman

Matt Woodward opened from under-the-gun and David Lieberman flat-called in middle position.

Woodward checked on the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Lieberman checked back. Woodward bet on the {3-Clubs} turn and his opponent called. Woodward bet again on the {3-Clubs} river and Lieberman went in the tank before calling.

"I have two pair," announced Lieberman before Woodward turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} to win the pot with an apparently better two pair.

Lieberman was left with crumbs and got it in the next hand when he raised and called a three-bet from Woodward in the big blind.

David Lieberman: {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Matt Woodward: {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

"I have the best hand," noted Lieberman before the flop came {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} to give Woodward a big lead with a pair. "Now I don't."

Lieberman picked up a flush draw on the {4-Spades} turn but he couldn't get there on the {k-Clubs} river to be eliminated with the money bubble looming.

"Can you believe this?!" Ten-five?!" Lieberman told his friend on the rail as he walked off.

Ace-Queen Wins Everywhere

Nível 14 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Marco Johnson raised the button and Jesse Lonis three-bet from the small blind. Johnson responded with a four-bet and Lonis just called. The flop came {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Lonis check-called a bet from Johnson.

On the {k-Hearts} turn, the action was the same and both players checked the {7-Hearts} river. Johnson tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Lonis sent his cards to the muck.

Next door, Nick Pupillo raised in middle position and Matthew Schreiber three-bet from the cutoff. Brian Rast four-bet out of the small blind and only Schreiber called.

The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Rast led out with a bet which Schreiber called. The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and Rast check-called a bet from Schreiber this time. The {10-Clubs} landed on the river and Rast check-called once more. Schreiber showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} which turned out to be the best hand.

Klassen Chops, Then Doubles

Nível 14 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Yi Klassen chopped a pot in an anticlimactic hand where she three-bet all-in with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} was called by Jesse Lonis, who held {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

Shortly after, Chad Eveslage opened and Klassen three-bet all-in. Eveslage called.

Yi Klassen: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Chad Eveslage: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

"Almost a Royal Flush," exclaimed Lonis before the board ran out {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for Klassen to win the pot with top pair.

"There it is!" Lonis said upon seeing the river card.

Dirksen Eliminated by Lieberman in Boat-Over-Boat Cooler

Nível 14 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Dustin Dirksen
Dustin Dirksen

Dustin Dirksen opened on the button and David Lieberman, the other short stack at the table, called from the big blind.

Lieberman checked on the {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop and called a bet from Dirksen. Lieberman again check-called on the {10-Spades} turn.

Lieberman checked again on the {q-Diamonds} river and Dirksen bet to leave himself with just 1,000. Lieberman raised to put Dirksen all-in and he quickly called.

"Ah, you hit that queen on me?" Dirksen asked.

"I did. I did," responded Lieberman, showing {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} to win the pot with queens full of tens.

It was a bad beat for Dirksen, who held {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for tens full of queens to be eliminated ahead of the two-table redraw.
