Action folded to Benjamin Scholl in middle position, who raised. Roberto Valdez three-bet from the cutoff and Karl Tretter decided to four-bet from the button. The blinds got out of the way and both Scholl and Valdez called to send action three-way to the initial draw.

The initial draw saw Scholl and Tretter take one while Valdez drew two. Scholl led out following the draw and was called by both Valdez and Tretter.

On the second draw the drawing pattern was identical to the first draw, with Scholl and Tretter again taking one card to Valdez's two. This time Scholl slowed down, checking to Valdez, who in turn checked to Tretter on the button. Tretter fired off a bet, which was duly called by both Scholl and Valdez.

Scholl and Valdez both took one card on the final draw while Tretter stood pat. After peeling what would be his last card of the tournament, Scholl moved all-in, eliciting a fold from Valdez and a snap call from Tretter, who showed down {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Scholl could not beat it and exited the tournament short of the money.

Elsewhere a number of players have already busted early on Day 2.
