Chase Bianchi raised to 450,000 from early position and Nicolas Vayssieres called from middle position. Philipe Pinto three-bet to 1,450,000 from the small blind and both players called.
The flop was and Pinto bet 1,700,000. Bianchi and Vayssieres folded quickly and Pinto picked up the pot.
Day 1A of the Main gets underway on Friday, December 3. The second starting flight takes place the day after and the survivors from both Day 1's will combine for Day 2 on Sunday, December 5.
Days 3 and 4 will play out on December 6 and 7 respectively before the final day of action will be on December 8. Each day of the Main Event will begin at 12 p.m. CET.
Jareth East raised to 400,000 from the early position and Robert Mitchell three-bet jammed for 2,490,000 from the late position. The action folded back to East who asked for a count. The dealer confirmed the amount and East took some time. After almost 90 seconds, he opted to fold.

Demosthenes Kiriopoulos raised it up to 330,000 and was called by David Cabrera from two seats over. Nick Petrangelo then moved all-in for around 3.8 million on the button and Kiriopoulos folded. Cabrera, however, called and the following coin flip emerged.

The flop instantly improved Cabrera to the superior pair and he held onto the lead throughout the turn and river. Since neither player had a spade in their hand, Petrangelo was sent to the rail in 45th place.
Picking up the action on a flop of , Jason Osser led out with a bet of 2,200,000 and Hye Park called, while a third player in the hand folded.

Osser was dominated and needed a jack to stay alive. He didn't get it as the river brought the and he hit the rail after wishing his table mates good luck.
Norbert Koh raised to 320,000 and Tyler Cornell defended the big blind to see a flop of , on which both players checked. On the turn, Cornell checked once more and Koh bet 300,000. What followed was the check-raise to 1,050,000 by Cornell and Koh came along.
They headed to the turn on which Koh checked once more. Cornell now fired a bet worth 2,500,000 and Koh tank-folded.
