Cornell Chips Up Through Dwek

Chance Kornuth raised to 400,000 and won the blinds and big blind ante.

"How did they know?" he grinned and flashed the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}.

Tyler Cornell then raised to 400,000 from under the gun and Jonathan Dwek defended the big blind. On the {j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Dwek check-called for 400,000 and they checked the {a-Diamonds} turn. There was no betting action on the {j-Hearts} river either as Dwek tabled the {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Cornell had the {a-Spades}{7-Spades} and won the pot.

Röder Down to 15 Big Blinds

Tonio Röder raised to 400,000 from the early position and Robert Mitchell made the call from the button.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs}, Röder checked, Mitchell bet 400,000 for Röder to call.

The {6-Clubs} was turned over. Röder quickly checked again. This time, Mitchell barreled a bet of 1,000,000 into the pot, Röder folded.

Abro Stays Alive on the River

Ronnie Abro was down to just seven big blinds and he shipped all in for 1,450,000 in the cutoff. Jesse Lonis quickly called from the big blind and the cards were tabled.

The flop came {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} with the six in the window to give Lonis the lead. The {k-Spades} on the turn gave Abro plenty of outs and he hit the {10-Hearts} on the river in order to stay alive.

Kiriopoulos Sheds Cabrera

The action was on a flop of {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}; the action went check-check to the {9-Diamonds} turn. From the big blind, David Cabrera bet 450,000, Demonsthenes Kiriopoulos called from the button.

The river came the {3-Clubs}. Cabrera led for 1,100,000. Demonsthenes took his time before raising to 4,200,000, which sent Cabrera into the tank. He rapidly shuffled his chips and looked at his opponent. Finally, he relented and folded.

Dumont Calls Down Spencer

Nicolas Dumont raised to 500,000 from early position and Lewis Spencer called from the cutoff.

The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Spencer checked. Dumont bet 400,000 and Spencer called.

The turn was {6-Clubs} and both players checked.

The river was {a-Diamonds} and Spencer bet 1,500,000. Dumont thought for a moment and called, turning over {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for three aces. Spencer tossed the losing hand in the muck.

Secilmis Pressures, Abro Doubles

Ugur Secilmis opened to 400,000 in early position and Joshua Remitio three-bet to 1,100,000 on his left. The action folded back to Secilmis who called to see a flop of {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

Secilmis check-called a bet of 800,000 from Remitio and the {5-Spades} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {3-Hearts} completed the board. Secilmis led out with a bet of 1,500,000 and Remitio looked him up. Secilmis showed {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Remitio mucked.

Secilmis went on to raise the next two hands as well and continued with bets of 1,000,000 and 400,000 respectively, winning the pot both times.

Ragozzini Wins Versus East

Matthew Jewett raised to 420,000 from the middle position with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} and both Sean Ragozzini on the button and Jareth East in the big blind called; Ragozzini called with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and East the {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, East bet 415,000 for Jewett to fold. Ragozzini called.

The turn was the {5-Spades}, this time, they both checked to the {a-Hearts} on the river. East tanked for a while and then checked. Jewett checked too. Ragozzini won with his pair of aces.

Mitchell Has Two Pair for the Pot

Robert Mitchell raised to 400,000 from the middle position and Matthew Jewett called from the late position. Mitchell Halverson did the same in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, Halverson checked and Mitchell bet 650,000. Jewett called but Halverson folded.

The turn was the {2-Hearts}, Mitchell checked and now Jewett fired a bet of 1,400,000 over the line. Mitchell came along to the {4-Spades} on the river.

Mitchell checked for the final time and so did Jewett. Mitchell tabled the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for two pair and the pot as Jewett mucked his hand.

Walton Eliminated, Remitio Takes Chip Lead

Picking up the action on the turn on a board of {4-Hearts}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades}, Joshua Remitio, in the small blind, bet 2,400,000 and Adam Walton moved all-in from the big blind. Remitio called with his opponent covered.

"We are all-in and behind," Walton informed his rail when he saw he was up against aces. "We need a king or a queen. I've haven't used my one-time yet. One time!"

Walton didn't improve on the {4-Diamonds} river and he was eliminated, as Remitio's rail roared in excitement.

"Nice f***ing hand, dude," table mate Ronnie Abro said to Remitio, who was all smiles as he stacked his new chips.
