Farrell Is Suspicious of Hanks

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Brent Hanks was in middle position and called a bet of around 2,000 from button Niall Farrell on a flop of {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Both players checked the {a-Diamonds} turn.

"I'm done checking now, I think," Hanks said as the dealer turned over the {4-Clubs}. Hanks bet 3,500 and Farrell folded.

"Very disciplined laydown," Hanks told Farrell.

"Very suspicious," Farrell replied.

Romano's Aces Become a Kicker

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Jay Romano was ahead in a classic preflop all in cooler with {a-}{a-} vs {k-}{k-} of his opponent.

The board would keep Romano ahead in an unconventional way as it ran out {9-}{2-}{9-}{9-}{9-} to give both players quad nines but the ace kicker of Romano ousted the player holding the king kicker as he got up and left the table while Romano stacked the big pot.

Everett Carlton
Everett Carlton

Everett Carlton hit the rail during Level 2 and players at the table filled PokerNews in on the action that led to his demise.

Carlton saw a flop of {q-}{5-}{3-} in a three-bet pot against Sean Ragozzini. Carlton bet out on the flop and Ragozzini check-raised to get the rest of the chips in the middle, with Ragozzini being the player at risk.

Carlton held {a-}{a-} but his opponent had {q-}{q-} and had flopped a set. Carlton couldn't improve as the board ran out {10-}{3-}.

Carlton was left with just 6,000 after the hand and busted shortly after.

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

The action picked up three ways between Daniela Rodriguez in the hijack, Ran Koller on the button, and Mike Matusow in the big blind, with a board reading {6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Action checked to Koller who bet 900, getting a call from Matusow and a fold from Rodriguez.

The turn of {7-Clubs} checked through and the river of {q-Diamonds} was bet at by Matusow to the tune of 1,000. Koller went into the tank and after about 30-seconds of thinking he tossed his hand into the muck, giving Matusow the pot.

Pocket Tens Turn Into Straight for Myers

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

There were three players that saw a {9-Spades}{j-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop after an initial 800 raise and Gary Benson led out for 1,600 from under the gun.

Only Matt Myers called from middle position and the {8-Spades} turn was checked by both players to the {4-Diamonds} river. Benson led out for 2,000 and then called the 5,000 raise from Myers.

Myers announced straight and rolled over {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to collect the pot.
