Eldar Risks Friendship With Yanovski

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Alon Eldar
Alon Eldar

Alon Eldar and Leonid Yanovski have formed quite the friendship in Amazon Gold but just tangled in another pot.

Yanovski was in the cutoff and bet 1,300 on a flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Eldar, in the big blind, raised to 4,000 and Yanovski called. "You're going to ruin the friendship that quickly," a tablemate said.

Eldar continued for 7,500 on the {a-Diamonds} turn and Yanovski again called. Both players checked the {3-Clubs} river.

"King-high," Eldar announced, turning over {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Yanovski had {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for a turned pair of aces to win the pot.

"Bad turn," Eldar said following the hand.

Queens Full for Hollywooding Hoffman

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

James Hoffman was out of position in a heads-up pot on a board of {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} with an array of orange and yellow chips in the middle.

Hoffman led out with a bet of 15,000 and his opponent squirmed around in his chair before saying "I call." Hoffman tabled {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} for queens full of fives and his opponent mucked.

A player at table teased Hoffman for "a little Hollywooding" during the hand.

Alon Eldar opened under the gun for 800 and Leonid Yanovski three-bet to 2,000 from the small blind.

Action was back on Eldar who four-bet to 8,000 and Yanovski called bringing the {4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop.

Yanovski check-called the 4,200 continuation bet from Eldar and the {5-Spades} turn was checked by both players to the {10-Diamonds} river.

Yanovski fired out 10,000 and Eldar snap-called only to muck his hand facedown after Yanovski rolled over {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} to win the pot.

Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

The player in the hijack opened to 800 and was called by the player in the cutoff and Jeremy Ausmus in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The action was checked to the original raiser who continued for 1,600. He was called by the cutoff but when the action was on Ausmus he three-bet to 7,500. Both of his opponents called.

The turn came {3-Clubs}. Ausmus led for 17,000. The original raiser folded. The player in the cutoff thought for a few seconds before moving all in and Ausmus snap-called.

Opponent: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Jeremy Ausmus: {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Ausmus flopped the nut straight to his opponent's set of eights. His opponent needed the board to pair.

Unfortunately for him, the river brought the {2-Clubs}. He could not improve and was sent to the rail.
