Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Frank Stepuchin
Frank Stepuchin

Frank Stepuchin called a raise out of the big blind from Daniel Rezaei. "I miss," Stepuchin said on the {3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, but he called a bet of 500 from Rezaei.

Both players checked down the {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} turn and river and Rezaei showed {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes. "A six? The nuts," Stepuchin said after mucking.

The next hand, Michael Faulkner raised to 800 from early position and got three callers, including Stepuchin in the small blind. Action checked to the turn on a board of {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, when Faulkner won the pot with a bet of 2,000.

Stepuchin is playing the Main Event to benefit pancreatic cancer research. "10% of whatever I win. If I win anything," Stepuchin said.

Oliver Weis

Action picked up on the flop between Oliver Weis in the hijack and Joao Simao on the button with 2,200 in the middle, and a board reading {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

Action checked to Simao who bet 1,000 which Weis responded to with a raise to 2,200. Simao thought about it briefly and then called.

The turn came out an {a-Hearts} and Weis bet 2,400 which Simao called.

The river came a {3-Diamonds} which Weis bet at for 3,000 and Simao called. Weis turned over {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a wheel and Simao mucked his hand, giving Weis the pot.

Chan Eliminated by Foutty

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Johnny Chan
Johnny Chan

Johnny Chan's time in the tournament was very short as he's been eliminated by Steve Foutty.

Foutty limped in early position, two other players limped behind, and Chan made it 1,600 in late position.

Foutty then re-raised to 5,400 which got folds from the other two limpers, but after some deliberation, Chan called.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and Foutty led out for 4,400. Chan called.

On the {6-Clubs} turn, Foutty upped his bet sizing to 16,000, and again Chan called, leaving just 6,500 behind.

On the river {4-Hearts}, Foutty put Chan all-in for that last 6,500 and Chan decided to call.

Foutty showed {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for a flopped two pair, while Chan could only show {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, eliminating the 10-time WSOP bracelet winner and Poker Hall of Famer.

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Chris Bolio three-bet pre-flop before his opponent put in a four-bet to 16,000. Bolio shoved all in and his opponent snap-called.

"You have aces?" Bolio asked and let out a loud sigh when his opponent showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Bolio turned over {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The {k-Diamonds} came on the flop to give Bolio a set, followed by the {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}. The board ran out {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, improving Bolio to a full house. The stacks were counted down and Bolio had his opponent covered, sending her home on the second level of Day 1b.
