Royal Flush for Hite

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The action began with the player in the cutoff raising to 3,600 and Brandon Hite elected to three-bet to 12,000 next to act. The blinds quickly got out of the way and the original raiser put in a four-bet for all of the chips. Hite was the one at risk when he called off his stack of 81,900.

Brandon Hite: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Cutoff: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Hite was behind the pair of kings but quickly became the favorite when the flop came {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, giving Hite top pair of aces and a gutshot royal flush draw. The turn changed nothing as the {5-Diamonds} landed but the river {q-Hearts} gave Hite a royal flush and a massive double up.

Woods Shows the Bluff

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a three-way pot, the three players put in a combined total of 14,400, and the dealer fanned a flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The first player checked before James Woods fired out a bet of 8,500. As the next player went into the tank Woods cried, "have mercy on me please." The player then mucked his cards as did the third player in the hand.

Woods then proudly tabled the bluff showing {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for six-high to take down the pot.

Mehigan Wins Monster Pot Last Hand Before Break

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} and about 17,000 in the middle, the small blind lead out for 6,000, and Erik Mehigan raised to 20,000 on the button. After thinking about it for about 10 seconds the small blind announced all-in for roughly 40,000 and Mehigan snap-called.

Small blind: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Erik Mehigan: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Mehigan had his opponent dominated as he would need to catch the runner-runner to win the hand. The turn {3-Spades} and river {j-Diamonds} were no help for the opponent, improving Mehigan to a full house and winning a monster pot as the players headed to break.

Hortin's Full House Eliminates Opponent

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With a big pot already brewed, the board read {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Dylan Hortin bet 35,000 once checked to on the river. His opponent called off his remaining stack for slightly less. Hortin tabled the {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for a runner-runner full house and his opponent's cards weren't tabled as he hit the rail.
