Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Andy Hwang bet 72,000 after two players checked to him on {2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Only Jeonggyu Cho, under the gun, called. Both players checked the {8-Spades} and Cho bet 200,000 on the {9-Hearts} river. Hwang's cards were in the muck almost immediately.

Heidorn and Morrone Chip Leading

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

888poker Qualifier Dean Morrone is determined to retain the chip leader status and has added some more chips to his stack to help him achieve that. He pointed at Robert Heidorn over on the next table as he was coming close. Upon inspection, Heidorn was sporting a stack worth 5,400,000 too.

"Tell him to back off!" Morrone said with a smile.

Danias Gets Value With Jacks

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez opened to 52,000 from under the gun and was three-bet by Nicholas Danias in the hijack.

"How much is it?" Gonzalez asked the dealer, who pushed over the chips and confirmed a size of 107,000. Gonzalez called.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Gonzalez checked. Danias made a continuation-bet of 136,000 and Gonzalez called.

The turn fell {2-Hearts} and Danias put out another stack of chips. Gonzalez asked how much and the dealer counted 236,000. Gonzalez called once more. The river was {6-Spades} and both players checked.

Gonzalez, first to act, tabled {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of fours. Danias then turned over {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and took down the pot.

Huk Doubles Through Brandt

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Lawrence Brandt raised in the hijack and Martin Huk jammed out of the small blind for 677,000. Brandt gave it some consideration and called with pocket tens, while Huk had a flip with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

The {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop improved Huk, but the {4-Hearts} turn gave Brandt a flush draw with his {10-Hearts}. Huk dodged the hearts and two remaining tens in the deck, as the {4-Diamonds} river was a blank to secure his double up.

Padilha Gets a Squeeze Through

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez opened to 52,000 from early position and received calls from Nicholas Danias in the cutoff and Larry Ross out of the small blind. Pedro Padilha then executed the squeeze, three-betting all in from the big blind.

Gonzalez asked for a count, which the dealer cut out to 608,000. Eventually, he folded. Danias then asked to confirm the amount before tossing his cards into the muck. As soon as he folded, Ross did the same and Padilha added the chunk of chips to his stack as a result.
