Kirsch Cracks Duong's Rockets

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Adam Duong raised to 27,000 from the hijack and was called by Daniel Kirsch on the cutoff as well as the player in the big blind. The flop came {5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and the big blind checked to Duong, who fired a continuation-bet of 67,000.

Kirsch called, or so he thought. In actuality, he put out around 107,000 and the floor was called. The ruling was such that since he had put out a bet in excess of 150 percent of the original bet, he was required to make a minimum raise of 134,000. The big blind got out of the way and Duong quickly moved all in effectively for Kirsch's total remaining stack of around 450,000.

Kirsch thought for a bit and ultimately committed the remainder of his chips

Adam Duong: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Daniel Kirsch: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

Kirsch was down to two cards in his tournament life. That total was halved when the turn {3-Diamonds} fell. The river came {q-Clubs}, keeping him alive via a four outer as he now finds himself with a stack of around one million in play.

After an open, Dylan Meier three-bet and Gordon Vayo four-bet all in for around 490,000. The initial raiser folded and Meier called.

Meier held {a-}{a-} against the {k-}{k-} of Vayo. The flop brought an ace, and the board paired on the turn to leave the 2016 Main Event runner-up drawing dead. He was eliminated midway through Day 4.

Timothy Su

A player in early position shipped all in for 190,000 and Timothy Su was next to act and made the call. The action folded around behind Su and the cards were tabled.

Timothy Su: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}

Su was a big favorite and became an even bigger favorite when the flop came {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and the opponent couldn't catch runner-runner when the board completed with the {3-Clubs} on the turn and the {7-Clubs} on the river.

Lewis Doubles Through Arieh

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Over on the third feature table, Josh Arieh clashed with Romain Lewis and the Frenchman ended up at risk with the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Arieh was trailing with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} an the {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop gave Lewis a gutshot.

On the {5-Clubs} turn, Arieh paired his five while Lewis added a flush draw to his outs, and he got there with the {k-Spades} river to double.

Bithell Moving On Up

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Oliver Bithell has had a successful first couple of levels on Day 4, increasing his stack to over the 2 million mark. Since coming back from the latest break, Bithell is showing no signs of slowing down as he just picked up another pot.

Bithell opened to 20,000 in the cutoff and the big blind called. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} and the big blind checked to Bithell who continued for 18,000. His opponent check-raised all in for around 150,000 and Bithell snap-called.

Oliver Bithell: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Bithell got it in with the goods but his opponent held one overcard and a straight draw. The {6-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and the {9-Hearts} bricked the river as Bithell eliminated his opponent and stacked even more chips.
