There are 38:28 remaining in Level 18 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and a 12,000 big blind ante, and the players have been sent on a 20-minute break. Around 610 hopefuls remain and will return to their seats to play until 7.30 p.m. local time, with the 90-minute dinner break scheduled to take place then.

Here’s a look at some recent highlights from the tables:

Nguyen Nabs Another One

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Qui Nguyen
Qui Nguyen

The flop read {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Qui Nguyen checked in the small blind, as did the player in the big blind. The player in the under-the-gun position shoved for 131,000 in total. The player in the late position quickly folded, Nguyen called, and the big blind got out their way too.

Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Qui Nguyen:{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Nguyen had flopped a set while his opponent hit top pair.

The rest of the board was completed with the {8-Spades} on the turn and the {k-Hearts} on the river to not provide any danger to Nguyen as he adds some more chips to his stack.

888poker Qualifier Brandt Wins Massive All In

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

888poker Qualifier Patrice Brandt had the winning hand of {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} tabled on a board of {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and was in the process of having his chips counted for the double up-plus he had just earned.

He apparently had raised from early position and the player to his left went all in for 180,000. Action then folded to the player on the button who shoved all in for more than Brandt's stack. Brandt called for a total of 333,000 with his queens and held versus the {a-}{q-} of the all-in player and the unnamed hand of the player who covered to earn both a knockout and more than a full double.

Cunningham on a Nub

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Allen Cunningham

At the feature table, Jeff Hart raised to 27,000 from the hijack and Chris Wallace three-bet to 70,000 on the button. Allen Cunningham four-bet to 206,000 from the small blind and Hart folded.

Wallace five-bet shoved all in for 687,000 and Cunningham called it off for the majority of his stack.

Chris Wallace: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Allen Cunningham: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} kept Wallace's superior pair in the lead and Cunningham was left with just eleven big blinds.

Updated Chip Counts

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Hall on a Slippery Slope

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded to Johann Ibanez in the small blind who opted to just limp in. Galen Hall checked his option and the two players saw a flop of {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Ibanez checked to Hall who bet 15,000 and Ibanez called.

The turn was the {6-Spades} and Ibanez checked again. Hall slid out another bet of 20,000 but Ibanez still called. The {7-Spades} completed the board and both players quickly checked. Ibanez flipped over {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for trip tens and Hall flung his cards to the muck.

Liu's River Bet Takes It

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a board of {3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{j-Clubs} there was roughly 92,000 in the middle in a three-way pot. The player in the big blind checked, the next player bet out 70,000 and Sasha Liu called on the button, while the big blind mucked behind.

The {9-Spades} fell on the river and Liu's opponent checked. Liu fired out 180,000 and after thinking about it for about 10-seconds the opponent let his hand go.
