Conservative Line With Ace-King Chips Up Smits

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Five players put in 2,200 each, before the flop of {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades} was dealt. The action checked to the player in the hijack who bet 2,600. Bas Smits called from the small blind and everyone else folded.

The players went heads-ups to the {q-Hearts} on the turn which was checked around.

Neither player wanted to bet the {5-Spades} river so the players went to showdown.

Smits:{a-}{k-}
Opponent: {a-}{9-}

Smits' top pair top kicker was good enough to send him the pot as he chips up early on Day 1c.

Kassouf Bossed

Will Kassouf

Alicia Stepnowski and Will Kassouf engaged in a cutoff versus button battle, getting to the river on a {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} board. The out-of-position Stepnowski put in a bet, and Kassouf didn't take too long before making the fold.

Stepnowski emphatically tabled her {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nut straight and exclaimed "Like a boss!", clearly knowing exactly who her foe to the left is. Kassouf complimented her on the hand and told her he knew she wasn't bluffing in that spot and had at least two pair.

On the following hand, Kassouf opened to 500 from the cutoff, and Adam Matues called in the big blind. Kassouf continued for 800 on the {6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop, and Matues called.

Both players checked the turn {k-Diamonds}, and Matues led with a 1,500 bet on the {6-Hearts} river, getting the fold from Kassouf.

Up and Down for Le

Nível 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Hieu Le took down an early small pot, calling a bet for 1,000 on the river and showing down {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for the winner on a board of {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. A couple of hands later, Hieu found himself in a much bigger pot.

Le and James Graziosi were heads up, both in early positions at the 10-handed table. With the board showing {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}, Fraziosu checked, and Le bet 3,200. Graziosu raised to 10,200, and Le throught it over for a bit before mucking.
